Best price on quality He Shou Wu anywhere. Half this amount/servings in capsules is the same price. Quality He Shou Wu is not readily available; very few good brands(Anime Mundi, Lost Empire, Dragon Herbs, Jing Herbs)
He shou wu tastes earthy, I mix with Cinnamin to balance flavor. This brands stuff works, I have taken he shou wu for awhile now and the effects take time, but they do set in. I take it with coffee in morning and a cacao shake later in day, effects mood within 1-2 weeks and have experienced hair color change from some grey roots in my beard at high doses and a clean diet(whole foods, properly prepared) after 1-2 months.

I’ve bought this twice before, and it used to be what seemed a high quality extract, prepared in the Traditional Chinese Medicine way (simmered in black bean sauce.) It had the characteristic bittersweet taste with a slight burn when put on the tongue straight, similar to other quality he shou wu’s I’ve had. And it seemed to have good tonic effects on my hair and energy levels, with a nice subtle relaxation effect. i don’t know what happened–they either got cheap and greedy, or maybe got co-opted by raw vegan propaganda, but the jar I got from the latest batch is clearly just ground up root. I was surprised when I opened the jar and saw the lighter color and grainy texture and smelled the fresh, herbaceous fragrance. The taste is mildly ginseng-like, and it doesn’t dissolve in water, leaving sludge at the bottom of the cup. As I feared, the only effect I got was diarrhea, another telltale sign of unprepared he shou wu. In TCM, in order for he shou wu to have its blood-building, hair-color-restoring, longevity-promoting qualities, it must be prepared, otherwise it’s just a laxative. HIghly disrespectful to your customers to suddenly start selling raw root while continuing to label the jar as a 10:1 prepared extract. I’m returning it.

I have tried other brands of He Shou Wu and I must say this is the most potent, effective, with the best value for the money.
Effects felt after a few hours (I haven’t taken He Shou Wu for a few weeks but the other brand was very subpar).
This is my favorite herb because I experience its potential, even though it takes a while to fully experience its greatness.
I also recommend it for anyone suffering from low dopamine symptoms. Your energy and vitality will heighten.
If you are trying to withdraw from Kratom this is excellent for that too.

I haven’t been taking it long enough to see visible results, but based on my research of other companies who cultivate He Shou Wu, I’m extremely pleased with the quality and price from Anima Mundi. The taste is quite strong for those who aren’t used to earthy flavors, but I love adding it to broths, smoothies, and coffee.
There are beautiful benefits to He Show Wu that I’m very excited to see (adaptogens taken consistently over a long period of time yield the best outcome) but like I said, I’ve only taken it for a couple of weeks so far!
