Runnier consistency, cheaper and larger quantity pricing seems more reasonable! (CKJ pricing seems illogical no discount or higher prices the more you buy)
Instinct is ckj extract is purer as it’s thicker, perhaps less water? Keeping in the fridge thickens it more though.
Taste test, both extracts 1.2g mixed into 120ml of water heated to 170f. Ilhwa looks significantly lighter (does this mean weaker?).
CKJ takes ages to mix.
The bitter ginseng taste actually very similar between the two products, even though the color is completely different.
I’m unsure which is my favourite, CKJ definitely takes more time to make tea, and storage might be a deal breaker for some. Spoon is better with CKJ, steel spoons are not advised with the extracts, but cheap plastic in hot water can’t be a good idea!
Ilhwa container and box are nice looking and taste doesn’t seem to be weak even though it looks weaker.
Ilhwa pricing is better, buy more, it’s cheaper. With ckj the 30 and 120ml are both cheaper than the 50ml by per ounce.

Both of these products are better than extract pills imo. More energy and stress resilience.

This great Ginseng concentrated tea is easy to use and comes with a small spoon for helpful dosing. I make a mixture of this syrup and water to keep me going through the day. It helps with the energy slump in the afternoon, especially if you don’t want to drink coffee. This tea is good in taste (it has a very earthy taste), which I enjoy. I recommend starting with more diluted tea if you are sensitive to Ginseng products, as it may give you a headache. Otherwise, this and many of the other ginseng products are a great addition to your daily health routine.

I used this for years but lost touch until recently. Bought and was very pleased to see that it is the exact same high quality, same packaging and nearly the same price as 10 years ago. It is very thick but one dose is a tiny spoon that comes with it. I like to make warm water to dissolve it into (it’s very sticky) and drink it fast. The taste is harsh, bitter, not a sipping tea but a healthy tonic. It promotes feelings of well being. Ginseng is very good for the whole body and supports all the systems. This is a high quality extract. Very concentrated. A little goes a long way. The package is a tiny box with a black bottle inside. I appreciate the beauty and care of this company.

I was a little hesitant at first because I had never used liquid ginseng before but this is more like syrup and I can fill a mug with water, pop it into the microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds and it is right at boiling temp. Then I pour a little honey into my my and then spoon out a scoop of the ginseng which is really thick. I read one review where they seemed concerned about the plastic spoon being used. It is made out of good thick plastic and I have just used my first bottle almost up and the spoon is the same as new. It takes a minute of stirring to get the ginseng off the tiny spoon but when it has dissolved I take a regular teaspoon to get the honey and ginseng really mixed good. I have seen other complain about the taste but I love it. To me, it is better than a regular cup of tea and very pleasant to drink. Those ginseng pills I used to get never did anything for me that I could tell and I bet they are mostly made with filler and low quality ginseng because even after a month of use, it still tastes good to me and making one when I wake up in the mornings always gets me clear headed and motivated to start my day. I can feel the extra energy as well as better mental focus. I can remember names or words way more quickly. I have always been so bad at remembering names but this is the real deal for top quality ginseng. You can even put it in your regular coffee and I bet you wouldn’t even notice and difference in flavor. Forgot those bottles of ginseng pill, I wasted so much money on them before I got this Brand. I will never use any other Ginseng brand than this ever again. I just placed my order for my second bottle. A 1oz bottle lasted me a whole month and I was drinking 3 to 4 cups a day. I recommend this brand over any other. You won’t be sorry, I am pretty sure that you will be getting more just like me.
