My wife has been taking Wise Woman Herbals’ Immune Glycerite for a while now. She’s not sure if it helping at all, but she hasn’t gotten sick and claims to feel a boost/pick me up right after drinking it. The flavor is innocuous and reminds her of barley tea. I concur. The ingredient list seems good and we could all use some extra immune support these days. I’m not sure if it warrants the premium price tag, but it is a niche product.
My two complaints are that 1) it doesn’t include a dropper and that is how the dosage is measured out and 2) the actual dosage is fairly ambiguous. It says to take 15 to 30 drops per serving for an 80lb. person. So would a 160lb. person take 30 to 45 drops? And it can be taken 1 to 4 times a day. FWIW, I measured 30 drops out into a teaspoon (photo) and it fills it up to between 1/3 and 1/2. Best By date on my bottle of 03/23/22.

Although this herbal substance does no harm, I cannot tell that it has any benefits. The ingredients seem wholesome to me and include bitter orange, sweet orange, lemon and ginger essential oils. This solution is added to water (although I suppose it can be added to any liquid). I like the taste as it tastes to me rather like a tea although one without any sweetener. The instructions are a bit unusual as it seems calibrated for an 80 pound person. Many Americans are about 160 pounds and can simply double the instructions. I myself fall in the middle of these 2 ranges. The instructions say to add this using 15-30 drops for an 80 pound person and use from 1 to 4 times a day. Since no dropper is included, I learned through a quick internet search that 1/4 teaspoon is about 25 drops. For me, I’m using 1/4 plus 1/8 teaspoon per use. My rating is 3 stars for this does add flavor to my water.

I have been using Wise Woman Herbals products for years. Their products are really well made, high-quality, and very fresh. I love this tincture when I’m feeling run down and on the verge of getting sick. I will use it 2-3 per day for a couple days and I feel like it really boosts my immune system. You can take it up to 4 times per day. I especially make sure to take it right before bedtime so it can work it’s magic overnight.
I take it right into my mouth rather than mixing with water. I float it around in my mouth and throat and I think that is a better way to absorb it than drinking in water. It is a very strong “herbal” flavor, which I like. For some people it might be a strange flavor, but it is the nice herbs that are in the tincture. I have become accustomed to that flavor since i use a lot of herbal tinctures. It does have a bit of orange, lemon, and ginger which give it a very nice flavor in my opinion.
This comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. I use the dropper to dispense it directly into my mouth. The shelf life of this product is very reasonable. I ordered and received it in December 2020 and it is good through December 2021.

So I don’t like that the 4-ounce size that is pretty pricey does not include a dropper like the two ounce size but it tastes decent when I put it in water to drink. They said 15 to 30 drops for 80 lb and I’m about 160 so I decided to just use 30 drops. I have felt pretty healthy while using it considering this is winter time when I start getting colds and that moved into allergy season so im going to continue to take the whole bottle but it is kinda out of my budget range to keep purchasing. I do love the immunity boosting ingredients though and I swear by echinacea. I love that this is provided in America.
