It is not dual extracted from what I can see. But it is fruiting body, so not grown on grains, and is wild crafted. We haven’t had beta glucans for a while so wanted to try this mushroom version. Also good for some other things that ail us. Works well in miso soup with veggies and meat if I empty a couple capsules in there. Can also put it in tea. Not much flavor on it’s own when I taste the powder straight. Does do a little bit of bitter on the back of the tongue for a few seconds, but no more bitter than tea and not noticeable in tea or soup to me. AND no fillers or additions.

The agarikon mushroom has been use for hundreds if not thousands of years in traditional medicines. These mushrooms grow in old growth forests and have known anti microbial properties. They were used to treat tuberculosis and other lung ailments. Eating the fungus can reduce inflammation and can help fight both viral and bacterial infections. If you saw the fantastic fungi documentary, this is the large mushroom the mycologist pulled out at the conference where he was speaking at the end. I have been very interested in getting more mushroom into my diet since seeing this documentary.
From what I have read regarding mushroom supplements, you want an extract rather than a powder and you want the fruiting body, not the mycelium. This agarikon supplement is an extract from the fruiting body. The dose is 4 capsules per day making this 120 capsule bottle one month’s supply.

These capsules have so many potential health benefits. I just got this on Thursday and I’m now looking at the expiration date and it says best before January 23 so that concerns me a little bit because I’m very finicky when it comes to expiration dates. They suggested serving size is for capsules a day which is a lot for me I do not like taking pills but I’m all for trying something out if it’s going to give benefits.. they are a normal capsule size to me. Only reason I gave this a war rating of stars is because of the expiration date they don’t have a bad taste at all easy to swallow. Comes in a nice size bottle.

The seller’s description of the product actually states “Look at your label….is your product the real deal?” and then the product I received doesn’t look like the picture of the label on the product shown on the website. See pictures of the product I received.
I received this product in January 2023 and the “best before” is 04/2023. So maybe the seller has updated the label since posting the product and this is the “older” batch of product?
No where on this product did I find information on USDA organic ingredients, certified good manufacturing practice, country of origin, or laboratory testing to certify the ingredients. These are stated on the seller’s link to the product but not on the actual label.
Lastly there is a “sealed for your protection” top on the bottle that pretty much was useless as it was not sealed at all and the foam “sealed” top can easily be put back on and taken off with no protection of the contents – the bottle was also not wrapped in cellophane. So I’m not confident this product was not tampered with.
There is a nice note that was included in the bottle top to contact the seller via the Amazon “contact the sleep” option (this note caused this product to arrive with the top popped open). There is no contact address or phone number on the product.

Hubby and I work a lot and don’t eat the way we would like to. I read up a lot about the power of these ancient mushrooms and their many benefits.
I have a sensitive stomach and was a little afraid , the serving size are 4 vegan capsules a day. I took 2 in the morning with breakfast to start.
No problem , no bloating , cramps , burps .
They don’t have a wired smell or taste . The powder looks uniform .
We all know how hard it is to rate supplements because we all react differently.
So far I am happy with the quality , I have to trust that the company is honest and the powder is from the most potent part ( fruiting )
I will try to up the dosage to the recommended 4 capsules a day , always with or after food .
I just wish that the powder could be packed into just 2 capsules., even if that would make the capsules bigger. They are “ normal “ size now and easy to swallow .
I am hoping the antiviral benefits of this will strengthen our immune system and keep us healthier.

Love discovering and using new healthy supplements that are from God’s natural creation and not from chemicals. Amazingly this mushroom grows on the sides of tree bark above the ground and has stripes like Saturn’s rings! Beautiful!
So the benefits that people use it for include circulation increase to get goodies to your cells, steady blood sugar levels so sugar doesn’t spike, immune support to help your body fight off illness, and digestive support.
While I can’t say taking this has alone given me those health benefits specifically- I did take it with some harder to digest food with less discomfort than usual and no bad aftertaste from the pill itself. I love natural helps so I plan to keep taking it.
Incredible how God gave us so many unique nutritional helps that we’re still discovering how to use some of them and love that this pill is from wild sourced mushrooms not something grown in a lab, so you know the natural nutrition is still in them. Stay healthy and God bless you!

All capsules are only filled half-way. First thought it was a few in the bottle until I emptied the bottle and looked through most of them. They can be squished with your fingers and when held up to a bright light were found to only be half filled. Would not reorder.
