Appreciate the variety of mushrooms and that they are sourced from organic suppliers. I think the price is a bit steep for a 2 month supply of mushroom powder although fresh mushrooms are extremely expensive these days. We have been breaking capsules and sprinkling on fruit or placing in smoothies to try and get most benefit.

I was eager to try it but I’m always concerned about quality and purity of my supplements. When I received the bottle I noticed a powder all over the capsules. It is the same color as the mushroom powder and I can assume it is that. But it does give me pause. Somewhere along the line a capsule or more spilled into the bottle. No return on this. 🙁

Mushrooms are overflowing with beneficial compounds. I keep reading more and more good things about them. It’s not always easy to eat them regularly, plus they can be expensive – especially varieties like oyster, shiitake and trumpet. Well, here they are combined in this bottle of Nature’s Fusions Nutri L Ergothioneine Supplements with Organic Mushroom Complex – 5mg L-Ergothioneine & 600mg Organic Mushroom Extracts -60 Capsules. I love that it’s organic. The bottle comes double sealed; the whole bottle, cap included, is wrapped in a plastic outer wrap, plus there’s a foil inner seal. When I opened the inner seal, there was the reassuring sound of air escaping, indicative of their freshness. The capsules have no unpleasant smell or taste and are easy to swallow. I like that there are 60 capsules, and that the serving size is just one per day. Mushrooms are expensive, but considering the varieties included and the serving size, this is a good value for a quality product.

If this is a supplement that you want to try, I recommend this brand. The size of the capsule is about average, not over large but not small either. Taste is pleasant in case you need to open the capsule and add the powder to a smoothie. This brand is made in USA, Good Manufacturing Processes, vegetarian and 99% organic. Hard to find any fault here. The customer support is top notch, they give you an email address and website for contacting them, and a Forever Guarantee, which is the first time I’ve seen that! Extremely impressive. There is one caution: the plastic wrapper which serves as a tamper proof seal is one with the entire wrapper of the bottle, so if you aren’t paying attention and happen to remove the entire plastic sheath, you’ll also remove the label. That’s GREAT for re-use of the bottle, nothing left on it, but it leaves you with an unlabeled product. That would be inconvenient but seemingly not a hazard, since the cap is not child resistant. Mushrooms are food, not dangerous. Highly recommend this product, and this company.

Get tested before using. If your men over 40 you’re most likely very low on this in your brain. This is huge for how you age. How your brain cognitive functions. Don’t haste. Get tested

It’s always nice when a supplement contains only the ingredients I am searching for without extra “stuff”, and these L-Ergothioneine/Mushroom Complex supplements by Nature’s Fusions just does that! I’ve been a long time fan of mushroom supplements simply because I can’t stand the taste of mushroom and capsules are a great way to get them without tasting them. I have been hearing of L-Ergothioneine lately and the benefits it is said to have, and it is appealing to me for long-term health. These capsules have no taste nor smell and are very easy for me to swallow. I have not felt any different since taking them, so can’t say if they are doing anything or not, but I can say that I haven’t noticed any negative affects from taking them. Overall a good value for a mushroom & L-Ergothioneine supplement!
