I’ve been using this now for a couple of months and I’ve been please with the results. Initially I was skeptical. Although I’ve heard and researched the benefits of Lion’s Mane, I’m always weary that supplements actually contain the ingredients specified. Even though I did not test the ingredients, after using, regardless of what they actually are, I’ve experienced benefits since incorporating it into my daily regiment. I also like that it’s only one a day, which is great compared to other supplements. I started using these and within a few weeks I did notice a slight increase in focus. Mind you, I’m not a medical professional, and I’ve also made other lifestyle changes, but since starting this supplement, my focus and mental clarity has been sharper. I don’t take the full dose as they’re a bit hard on my stomach. I have a sensitive stomach and most vitamins and supplements tend to irritate it.

These capsules are about half the potency that I get with another brand that I love and get great results from. The cost is a lot higher for that brand and value is a challenge, especially with good Lion’s Mane but it’s expensive. I’ve been doubling up when using these capsules to reach the 8:1 level equivalent, hoping that is the difference. I am not sure if my idea of doubling makes sense scientifically with the 4:1 extract. I know the brand I usually take offers many different types and potencies, and their other powders don’t give me the same benefit as their highest potency 8:1 capsules. It’s about 50 a month for a one month supply. YIKES! This product is 4:1 and otherwise appears to be similar to the other brand and it tastes the same. Keep in mind that I usually take three supplements with Lion’s mane, a mix for brain and one simple for neuro health and I’ll take one of each to be a full dose of lion’s mane between the two, or 500mg.
This product is a combo and a really good mix of mushroom types, with Lion’s mane being 500mg in one capsule. I take two a day. The formula looks great. The supply is generous. At just under 14 dollars for the bottle, at the time of this review, it’s a really great price for a one month supply. However I am not noticing the positive effects that I usually get pretty quickly, within two weeks. It works better and better still over the rest of the month and subsequent months if I keep up with that investment. I have not tried taking 4 a day, that may be helpful and still a good value. It’s just important to note that I do know that I expect certain effects, and that is a faster brain, easy access to vocabulary, names I want to recall right now and a huge reduction in the stress caused by trying to talk to someone and having so many blocks to the word or name I need to pull up in my mind. Now, this is not a permanent issue and the other brand offers obvious and reliable help. I’ll update, I will continue to try this supplement but take 4 capsule for a week and see if it pops some life into my recall. As for all the adaptogenic effects, I have some symptoms that are a bit beyond this product. It will take a while to notice those types of effects, and I am most concerned about speaking or telling stories with no hiccups and mind blanks.
Other than that I had no side effects or unpleasant experiences with this product. There are no unusual flavors or tastes, or gastric issues while taking these capsule.
