Nugenix is a company I trust with quality health supplements. In this case, they produce a 500 mg capsule of shilajit, somehow balancing a 50% fulvic acid content. The box says “pure Himalayan shilajit”, but I’m unsure of the actual shilajit harvesting, as shilajit is grown in many parts of Asia.
According to many medical sources (that also note more studies need to be done), shilajit is used to treat: Alzheimer’s, inflammation, osteoporosis, viral infection, cancer, poor gut health, stress, and oxidation. A few sources claim it helps improve male reproductive issues and reduces high cholesterol. I’m trying to use it to see if it will potentially reduce blood pressure and cholesterol numbers.
Overall, I’m seeing a slight decrease in my blood pressure, and will not know if it affected my cholesterol numbers until next month. However, as I’ve used it, I’ve had some issues with upset stomach and the additional associated symptoms. Medical research says that some may feel this way when starting using shilajit but it should subside with continual use. Other medical research says that this is part of the gut cleansing that shilajit helps with. I’m not sure what’s the reason, but I will say that if the upset stomach continues, I will stop using the product.
Do your research on Shilajit, and if you think it’s for you, I recommend it coming from Nugenix.

I am a huge fan of shilajit, and these capsules from Nugenix are a great source. At first I was surprised by how large the capsules were compared to my go-to brand, but then I realized these caps are 500mg per cap vs. 250mg for my normal brand. Given that I take two of those, obviously with these I just need to take one. Overall, highly recommended!

When taking Shilajit from Nugenix have definitely felt an increase and boost in energy. Had no side effects and pills are very easy to take. When taking consistently I have felt less fatigue during the day, and it has also helped me be more productive in my workouts. I feel great throughout the day even when it wears out, I do not feel a crash at all. Can’t go wrong with this one.

Being that I am late to this party and that there are currently 26 high star, reviews, I have nothing new to add. I will say that other reviewers have covered it well and that I agree that Nugenix Essentials is a quality brand who’s profile includes the sourcing, manufacturing, testing standards, etc., that I look for when I buy supplements.
I was taking Shilajit from another manufacturer and switched to Nugenix Essentials Shilajit for this Vine evaluation. I haven’t discerned any changes in me, from the switch, but I take a lot of supplements. It can be really hard to know exactly what or if you are getting benefits from a product. I do know from how I feel and perform, and from medical tests, that my supplement journey of ten years has yielded solid, measurable, significant improvements to my overall well being. I am switching out again, soon, when this bottle runs out, to try another Vine Shilajit offering.
Suffice it to say that I happily cast the 27th high star review for this excellent Nugenix Essentials Shilajit. FYI: When rating supplements, four stars is as high as I will generally go unless I have solid evidence of specific improvement in my health.
