I like that the serving size is smaller (scoop is smaller) than other collagen supplements I’ve used. It is Unflavored, but it actually does have a flavor. However, that flavor is slight, especially compared with other unflavored collagen brands I’ve tried that tasted really gross. The aroma is practically identical to the smell of other collagen I’ve tried, so it must be typical of collagen supplement ingredients. It’s an aroma that makes me kind of gag, but it’s not as strong as other supplements so that’s good. But I could still detect it when I added it to a strawberry banana smoothie I made. It clumps up when I add it to water or a beverage. Again, that’s been my experience with other supplements. What I usually do is mix it up as best I can with a fork then let it sit for 20 minutes or so. By then, it’s usually completely dissolved. I really dislike the taste and smell of collagen supplements, but I want the benefits so it’s something I put up with.

I tried this collagen originally to help with hip pain I had been experiencing for two years. I had tried meds, physical therapy and other exercise and then I saw an article regarding a woman who had similar symptoms to mine so it was worth a shot. It took about six weeks using daily before I noticed the improvement and the problem I experience for over two years was finally disappearing. As a bonus, my hair and nails also showed improvement using this powder. I use one scoop daily and it dissolves easily in my hot coffee. I do notice a very slight difference in taste if coffee is black, but with milk and sweetener (I use oatmilk) it is hard to detect.

First things first, with the current coupon for 40% off, this offering is a steal. The reason for that – collagen powder has a very different price if it contains hyaluronic acid vs when it doesn’t, and this one does.
It’s a nice powder, bringing in a lot of good stuff. It dissolves OK I’d say, which, again, hyaluronic acid usually makes more difficult. The bottle boasts 60 servings, but, to be fair, these are servings of 10g collagen – that would be the size for marine collagen, but this is not marine collagen (it’s only partially fish collagen), so the usual serving size is 20g – count this as a 30 normal-sized servings, maybe 40.
What kind of got me were the probiotics. 2 B CFU of B. coagulans – I had no recollection of such a name, but apparently it is one of the good bacteria in things like yogurt, kimchi or sauerkraut, good for your stomach and your skin. What made me a bit nervous though – probably not the best thing to mix into a hot drink. Still, a nice add-on.
Overall, this product checks multiple boxes. Bonus points for being made in the USA in a cGMP certified facility. Certainly a good option for collagen.

I love the ingredients in this collagen! It easily mixes into drinks, with no clumps or odd flavor. I’ve used it in smoothies and juice, while my husband has added it to his morning coffee. No issues with my sensitive stomach either. Yay for being USA-Made, too!

My holistic doctor recommended this to me over a year ago. I love it and my husband also switched to this brand. I used to buy it at Sam’s club but it isn’t available there so I have been buying it off amazon but it has gotten so expensive. I wish the price would come down to like $40 dollar range.

First of all I’m new to collagen supplements. I have recently tried a liquid collagen drink, and while it was tasty and easy, it was quite pricey. This Codeage Multi Collagen Peptides + Probiotic intrigued me because you seem to get so much more “good stuff” in this product and 2 months worth of supplement for the price. I’m hopeful with the 5 types of collagen, Hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and probiotics, this supplement can help my hair that has become quite thin after giving birth. And overall healthier skin and nails would be wonderful too. I’m only about a week in on taking it, so I will have to update this review after I finish the canister. I like that this product is nearly tasteless and mixes well in whatever drink you want to put it in. My only complaint is that it directs you to mix “One Scoop (approx 10 g)” into a drink of your choice, but after digging through the powder in my canister I have yet to turn up any scoop. Again, i’m new to powdered supplements, but anything else powdered I’ve ever had like this (baby formula, drink mixes, etc) always come with a scoop. I did pull out my kitchen scale and it seems like a scoop (10g as they specify) is approximately a tablespoon. But for $60 a canister, the least they could do is include their appropriately sized scoop so consumers “don’t exceed recommended dose” as it states on canister. Just a little quality control issue the company can work on, but otherwise pleased so far with this product. No ill effects noted when taking it either. Thanks Codeage!
