This Brand Is Expensive and Missing A Lot of Good Stuff
Here are the ingredients that are very good for the hair that are NOT in these capsules:
Saw Palmetto, Keratin, Zinc, Collagen, Fo-Ti, Kudzu, Iodine…
Calcium Carbonate
This is the cheapest Calcium you can get. It’s made from limestone and rocks. It causes painful calcium deposits in the joints.
Multi-Vitamins
If you already take an inexpensive Multi-Vitamin, you are getting more and better A, B, C, and D than these have.
Biotin and Silica
Bamboo and Horsetail both have Silica, BUT many formulas have MORE Silica than this does for LESS money.

LOVING it so far! – I’m 3 months postpartum and was losing a lot of hair and felt like my hair was getting destroyed. I’ve been taking these capsules for the last month and already feel like my hair is much healthier! When I opened the package the capsules had a nice refreshing scent to them, the packaging is very high quality and I love the frosted glass container it comes in!

The truth is that the vitamins in the product are not the best. They are mostly lower quality versions of regular vitamins. None of them are chelated versions which are better and have higher absorption. What you should be buying this product for is the other ingredients, that help with hair, skin and nails….and inflammation.
It has super high levels of biotin, which if deficient you will notice better hair and nails. If your not deficient in biotin adding more won’t help you.
MSM is a added beneficial ingredient that has been proven to reduced inflammation. Some studies state that inflammation is a factor in hair loss or thinning and skin structure degradation. So that ingredient is the thing that will most likely help anyone with hair loss.
Other ingredients in this product that are worth taking for healthier thinker hair is bamboo, glycine and L proline. These have also been show to help with hair growth.
Being a plant based supplement is not a benefit to me, maybe it is to you if you are a vegetarian or vegan. But vegetarian and vegan supplements are definitely not higher quality than animal based.
Overall these vitamins in this product are not the best. Some of the other ingredients could have some benefit to hair health and growth. I would recommend taking a higher quality multivitamin along with this product.

I found the Act+Acre thick and full capsules to be the best on the market for actually working and making my hair feel much thicker and so grow so quick.
I was also very pleasently surprised by the mint flavour on the capsules because any other capsules I have taken previously by other brands ways had a strange off putting flavour but these ones were much much more palatable.
I also want to call out the lovely packaging because it is 100% recyclable and the tub itself is made from glass so really reusable.
Ioved these so much that I recommended it to my sister who is getting married next year and is trying to get her hair in the best shape before then! She is loving them so much she is going to bulk order them so she doesn’t run out for a while.

I ordered the stage II hair capsules and the bottle includes 60 plant based capsules with a serving size of 2 per day so this is a one month supply. At the current price of $52, taking this hair supplement will cost $1.73 daily which is quite steep compared to similar products I’ve taken.
This supplement is advertised to support hair growth, promote stronger hair, & maintains hair follicle health. Comparing that to the ingredients, I’d say it includes all the right vitamins necessary to do so: A, C, D2, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, & calcium. That said, there are also a few less familiar ingredients that I had to look up and based on what I found they each contribute to hair growth & loss prevention:
• Methylsufonylmethane (MSM) can be an effective inflammatory and antioxidant and have shown to deliver “quicker and stronger benefits” to hair follicle growth rate
• Bamboo extract: boosts energy levels, supports the production of collagen for healthy hair and nails
• Glycine: a simple amino acid that aids in the growth of new, health hair strands and helps collagen production
• L-proline: encourages a healthier scalp and helps treat hair loss symptoms of Many Conditions Linked to Hair Loss
