These are my survival capsules! A few years ago I bought it on my trip in USA, and I after I finished, I remembered it for a long time, how amazing I felt while using these. After I finished these, tried using a lot of other enzymes from different companies,but none of them had the same strong effect like this company. So I was happy to find them on Amazon. It is pricey, but buying a bigger bottle is much cheaper and can be used for a long time. And it saves you money from buying medicine or other digestive supplements,especially if these Encymedica enzymes are together with probiotics. Will buy again.

I am pleased with this product as it appears to do what it claims. I digest my food very slowly and it takes quiet a while to pass from my stomach into the intestinal tract. I believe there are several enzmyes my body lacks to break down food. Many times this will cause bloating and/or gas as well as indigestion. Since starting to take these enzymes along with Greek yogurt, I have not had very many digestion issues. I have only been taking 2 instead of 3 tablets per day as I do not usually eat three meals per day. Even at the reduced dosage, I feel much better than I did without these enzymes and probiotics. I hope to see an even better outcome with continued use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would prefer to only have to take 1 or 2 pills per day instead of 3.

Since turning 40 I’ve suffered digestive distress. It didn’t matter what I ate. Up until I was 40 I had the legendary “cast iron stomach.” I ate hot sauce, spicy Indian food, chilies, Mexican food, tons of sweets, fast food, fried and raw onions, and drank alcohol; you name it and it was in my diet practically every day. After turning 40 it was like a switch had been flicked and literally everything led to intestinal issues no matter how benign and bland my food choices were. I tried probiotics alone; exercise; a bland diet; lactose-free and gluten-free eating; anti-infammatory drugs, supplements, and foods; lactose enzyme supplements; everything; and nothing helped. I even started a hydrotherapy colonic regimine. It was at the colonic that the provider mentioned that when we turn 40, sometimes our bodies stop producing as much of the digestive enzymes as it had in the past, and that my symptoms sounded very much like this could be my situation, so I decided to give digestive enzyme supplementation a try. I chose Enzymedica Digest Gold Plus Probiotics because of the excellent reviews, and after cross-checking its reputation on other sites, and I’m so glad I did I could cry. I’ve been taking it for 3 days now and every single abdominal symptom is gone. I’ve eaten greasy food, fried food, sweets, I’ve even had a little alcohol, and I’m prefectly fine. I feel like someone gave me my body back. In case it helps someone to determine dosage, I take 1 with small snacks and 2 with meals, and if my food includes dairy, I add an extra dairy-specific supplement, as well.

This works so well for me, especially when used with Acid Smoothe from Enzymedica. These got rid of my subscription anti acids pills and my acid reflux and IBS. I will keep taking them for now, but feel tons better. subscription based gut acid suppressing pills should only be used short term for a quick fix, not long term, you will only get into more trouble.

I came across this old review and had completely forgotten about how his behavior had gotten WORSE before it got better! I just wanted to add that after all this time, we are still using them! He takes one a day, unless he’s on antibiotics and then he takes one in the AM and one in the PM to help keep him square. We’ve tried other formulas a couple of times, but always came back to this.

We tried this product again along with a daily vitamin and Omega-3 pill starting in 2013 (a year ago) and WOW. I don’t know why we didn’t have any luck the first time around (maybe the first batch wasn’t handled properly and was inactive?) But our son is now 12 and you can TELL when he hasn’t taken one of these. When taken regularly he is more alert, it’s easier for him to interact with people, he’s more PLEASANT (preteen!) but let me say that the first 5 weeks on the product made me question why we were trying it again. It was strange because although he was making great eye contact and seemed to understand us easier he was also more of a handful behaviorally, ANGRY more often than not and his stimming went WILD. Like I’ve read for others, I really questioned if I wasn’t making it worse and wondered if this could be worth it! It has been. I’m shocked at the difference and so glad we decided to give it another go.

We were so busy trying to analyze whether this product made any difference in our 9 year old with autism I think we were trying to convince ourselves that it was working. We tried this for 3 months and never really saw anything concrete. He has been off of the D.G.+ for several months now and I honestly don’t see that it made a difference. We will stick to expanding our son’s diet through books, movies and games and continue weaning him off of processed junk by finding “Real” healthy alternatives so that he can naturally receive the right mix of enzymes, vitamins, probiotics and minerals that are found in non-genetically altered, non-processed, natural, whole, organic foods.

I have read numerous articles about digestive enzymes and their effect on overall health – so that is why I take one every day. But I always keep extras in my purse and when someone in the family gets an upset stomach, or has eaten too much, etc., we now take two of these instead of an antacid – and they work ten times better. At first, my husband was skeptical but is now a total believer.
I shared some with a friend of mine who has IBS and she called me to say it literally changed her life and that everyone was telling her she had lost weight – but it just took care of all the bloating and water weight, and that she felt better than she ever had. She takes one or two before every meal. This product has therefore far exceeded my expectations – and since it has a probiotic in it, no more expensive probiotics to buy separately. So while it may be a tad pricey, I’m only buying one product now instead of two. I will never be without this product.

LOVE this product. Over about a 2 year period I tried a bunch of stuff out there starting with Ox Bile and various brands of that. I’ve tried various probiotics along the way.
What I like about this product is that it combines both the probiotics and digestion. I take this before a meal and it does the job. I can almost feel it doing it’s work.
When I’ve done a test where I take a meal with Ox Bile and then monitor myself and then take that same meal at another time with this, I feel better with this.
