Produit essentiel pour les personnes, comme moi, qui souffrent du colon irritable, surtout en voyage. Quand on est hors de chez soi, en voyage ou au restaurant, il peut être impossible de prendre un repas sans FODMAP. On veut aussi partager un bon moment avec des proches ou des amis sans être stressé par ce qu’on mange. Ce produit à saupoudrer fonctionne bien si on l’utulise occasionnellement, selon mon expérience. Malheureusement, il est beaucoup trop cher!

I have SEVERE, SEVERE intolerances to onions and particularly garlic. I had an adverse reaction to an Asian chicken salad two months ago that caused me the most terrible pain I’ve ever experienced (and I’ve had two knee replacements). I was in such severe pain that I almost sought ER treatment and it took nearly a month before the pain fully subsided. My GI system was a mess for another 4-6 weeks afterwards. While I try to make most meals at home so that I can ensure I am not exposed to hidden garlic and onion (they’re in everything it seems) in restaurant and prepared foods, it’s not always possible particularly when I travel. I first experimented with FODZYME using it on pizza from a take-out restaurant and it worked! I didn’t experience even a hint of digestive upset – gastric reflux, gastritis, colitis, etc, as I usually do when I eat pizza, and this particular one smelled strongly of garlic. I recently ate a club sandwich with sun dried tomato sauce which likely had garlic in it, and again, I didn’t have any adverse reaction at all. I feel very good GI-wise when I use FODZYME; I think it helps my digestion overall. The only negative is the high price; I wish I could use it for every meal every day, but for now, I use it when I suspect possible garlic and onion exposure. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

For me, this has been life changing. After years of digestive issues caused by onions and garlic, this actually makes a difference. It doesn’t make the problems go away, but has lessened the effects significantly. No more painful stomach, lass bloating, much less multi day after effects. Sure it won’t work for everyone but definatrly worth a go. I buy the pot instead of the travel kits, and just decant a portion into a little tub if I’m going out. Tastes of nothing, is very slightly sticky if you get it on your fingers. Expensive but for me it is absolutely worth it.

My husband hasn’t been able to eat an onion in 15 years without running to the bathroom within 20 minutes. He has cut them out of his diet but every so often he runs into them at restaurants or parties. I was very reluctant to try this especially due to the price, and as a registered dietitian was skeptical of its efficacy. I requested free samples from the company so he could give them a try. Soon after receiving them he ordered a Quarter Pounder with no onions but they messed up his order. We decided to try the Fodzyme then and there and remarkably he had no symptoms. A couple weeks later he ate a spinach pie without knowing it was chock full of onions. When he realized it moments later he chased it with a packet of Fodzyme (not the recommended usage, but we figured we’d try it). Sure enough he was symptom free! His plan is to continue to avoid onions as much as possible but this is an amazing back up plan and will allow him to splurge from time to time. I will recommend to my clients as well.

Wow! It’s so tiny! When I opened up the package, I saw a tiny jar. My first thought was, this can’t be right. It was a lot smaller than I thought. What’s worse, as I pulled off thr safety seal, i was disappointed to see how little product you actually get. For $80, you think you would get a lot more. I sprinkled it on Lasagna and it didn’t work. I still had bloating and gas. I’m going to try it on other foods but so far, it doesn’t look like I’ll be repurchasing this item.

I have used the FODZYME product about 15 times so far and would say it definitely helps with the digestion of mushrooms, onions, and garlic, which were giving me issues earlier. What is keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the price per serving and the way it has to be used. First, I understand this is a unique product, and Kiwi Biosciences has a lot of research and start-up costs associated with this. I hope they will be able to drop the price in the future because the price per serving is cost prohibitive for a lot of people. Many FODMAPs are important staples of people’s diets and it is hard to avoid them. The single serving sizes are even worse per serving and create additional waste with their packaging. FODZYME has definitely helped me with the testing I’ve done so far, but the cost is kind of wild. Second, trying to measure out the powder and then eat the food with the powder on it is a challenge. The 1/4 tsp scooper is kind of a mess to handle, and with the desiccant packet in the product, it’s just not easy to grab this mini scooper and scrape around in the little container. This might sound silly, but having a bunch of powder on your food is kind of a choking hazard. It is really easy to inhale or exhale this stuff unless you integrate it into your first bite. As an example, sprinkling it on pizza, it just sits on the top of the slice. Using it on salad (with onions/garlic in the dressing) is not easy either. It’s not a great product delivery. I understand it needs to mingle with the food to do its job, but aren’t there vegetarian capsules that dissolve super fast that could be used instead? If there were capsules, the wasteful single-serving size wouldn’t be needed. I hope Kiwi Biosciences continues to evolve this product’s packaging and pricing so it is easier and more affordable to use.

Got it today. Tried it with all 3 meals today. If anything it bothered my stomach. I got no relief from this product. Be warned. The worst part is it costs $70 and you can’t get a refund. If this was a legit company they would return your money if it didn’t work. I think this is a scam.
