I can’t recall why I may have initially purchased these, but they have never failed to boost my energy with out dealing with jitters. I hate the term chronic fatigue, but I fight it all the time. Used to be a busy person, but the last five or more years have had a steady decline. I like that I feel like doing something, and don’t pay by feeling worse with side effects of too much caffeine or other stimulant. This is not speed, so don’t expect to be cleaning baseboards with a tooth brush, but you can expect to feel like you want to get things accomplished, go run errands, take care of business. I bought this product after reading it is prescribed to cancer patients routinely as a means of boosting their immunity. I have not gotten sick since I ordered it and the one cold I had was much milder and shorter than my colds normally are. Also, I have been around people who are sick since taking this and remained cold-free. So I actually think it is working. I will buy again. Why not, if it is helping great, if not, oh well. Downsides are the pills, why they don’t taste at all, smell horrible like moldy mushrooms, yuck!!

I have taken 3 bottles over the past few months and I am really happy with the boost in my immune system. I usually get sick with every cold and flu that goes around due to an autoimmune condition. I feel better taking these capsules and have more energy. If I do start to get sick, I just up the dose a little and I really feel like I get over the sickness more quickly without it developing into something big. The capsules are really small making them easy to swallow, but also can be opened and mixed with broth. The taste is strong, but not bad. Overall, I am happy with the effects of these Maitake capsules.

Have suffered from prostatitis for 20 years. It comes and goes as it pleases and can last up to a couple of months. Feels just like the flu with urinary symptoms, but without respiratory symptoms or temperature. Started taking these as soon I feel the symptoms starting. Each time it has stopped the disease from progressing by the next day. Otherwise I’m a very healthy and physically fit 64 year old male. I’ve never seen these mushrooms mentioned relative to prostatitis. But they definitely help me.
