My only hesitation for buying these softgels was the reviewer who claimed that the softgels were GIANT size (and then added, contradictorily, “I was able to swallow it no problem”). They are relatively large softgels, but they are not that big. And softgels, as opposed to pills, are easy to swallow. Go to an online search engine and enter: are softgels easy to swallow. The information that comes up will confirm that they are. I can’t really attest to the effectiveness of the fish oil within the softgels as I’ve just started taking them, but I know, as other reviewers have said, this product checks all the boxes, and I couldn’t be happier with it.

I am a vegetarian and was very happy to find this vegan version of Omega-3. Although the tablets are large, they are easy to swallow. I have been buying this product for 13 months. The bottle I received in December 2023 had a Best By date of 1/31/24 on the label which is on the bottle, but the EXP date stamped on the bottom of the bottle is 11/30/24. I would guess that the stamp on the bottle would be more reliable, but I can’t be sure.

I can only comment on the size of the pill since I just started using this supplement last week. I’ve used Deva multivitamins and have always been pleased with the product, even their size. I recently ordered these vegan Omega 3 supplements and was surprised by their size. They are long and narrow, which makes them easy to swallow but I wish they could just be a bit smaller. I could see how someone who has issues with swallowing would be intimidated.

I was really happy to find this vegan dha-epa option. They’re expensive, but the price is reasonable when compared to the cost of similar (and lesser iu/single omega source) products. I only began taking them a few weeks ago, so it will be some time before I know if they have an impact on overall health. But, based on positive experiences with other Deva products, I have a very good feeling about them! As other reviewers have noted, the capsules are large but are very easy to swallow. Still, I agree that people who struggle with larger pills are probably better off looking for another product.
For me, though, two thumbs up!
