To preface, this product has not helped me get pregnant. At least not yet. And I’ve written maybe 3 Amazon reviews ever. So I definitely feel strongly enough to actually review this product.
This was recommended to me when i was between my 3rd and 4th IVF cycles. For what it’s worth, neither of them worked, but i still feel strongly I have seen immense results from this product.
For the past two years of trying for a baby, I’ve been ovulating late, somewhere between day 17-20, never super predictably, but always later than it should be, and for someone with a luteal phase defect, that’s not a great thing. Many of my ivf friends and my last IVF doctor suggested this specific version of ovasitol, and my non-IVF cycles, I’ve moved from ovulating on days 17-21, to now reliably ovulating on day 14-15. It was probably the second month on this powder that i noticed the huge change.
My AMH also increased substantially – i assume not only due to this product but it certainly hasn’t hurt. It went up .9 from the time i was 33 to now 35. And i feel like i was always told it’ll be a constant decline.
I highly recommend even if i haven’t gotten exactly what i wanted, i know this product is working.

My OB told me to order this lovely product & so I did. Tomorrow will make a week taking it two times a day & I already notice change. My appetite has gotten smaller. I usually eat a lot & crave sweets. That has stopped significantly. Everyone’s body is obviously different, but for what it seems this supplement is working pretty quickly. Again, it’s only been almost a week, but I am noticing some kind of change already, thank god! And as far as the flavor it tastes like nothing. Very easy to consume. Overall this supplement seems like it’s worth the money. Will come back with an update as time goes…

I purchased the container and use the scoop to administer two doses a day (morning/evening). Thee powder has significantly helped with decreasing my hormonal bloating. I’ve only been on the powder close to 3 weeks. I have not noticed any changes in hair loss, however I am able to go longer before eating a meal. Sometimes I have to remind myself to eat. My major issue is the digestive side effect. I only experience this after taking my evening dose. I have painful diarrhea for over an hour to where I’m depleted and dehydrated. I have to drink electrolytes nightly just to recover. I’m going to decrease my daily dose to 1 scoop (morning only) in hopes this helps. If it doesn’t I will have to stop taking this product because the digestive issues are too painful.

If you’re still thinking if you should get it, you totally should GET IT! I haven’t been medically diagnosed having PCOS but the signs are there ie: weight gain, irregular periods, sugar cravings etc. After taking this, the first thing I noticed was the sugar cravings completely stopped. I no longer have the extreme hunger even after a meal. After 16 days of consuming this, my period finally came (after current cycle of 74 days) !!! though the amount is not how it used to be I am still glad it came! GET IT!

I’ve been diagnosed with pcos since I was 17/18, I’m currently 26. I’ve purchased the mini packets twice so far. I’ve been consistent, taking it twice a day (once in the morning, once at night). It’s perfect if you are always on the go and don’t want to carry a jar around. It has a slight sweet taste. The powder mixed well with any liquid you pick to mix it in. I usually just used water. Sometimes I used orange juice or a smoothie and it didn’t alter the taste.
I can say after giving this product a 6 month trial, I can say I don’t believe it did anything good for me. My routine before starting this supplement didn’t change. Everything stayed the same due to many drs (I’ve seen 3 specialists in the US, 1 in Mexico) recommending this product and saying it will help me. So I wanted to see if the product could help. Before I started this supplement, I was 30-31 days in between cycles. I only had one or two pimples on my chin during my cycle, the rest of the month my skin was fine. My hair loss was normal and not excessive. My symptoms after starting this product, I’ve experienced my period coming 48-51 days in between cycles. I’ve been trying to get pregnant for 5 years now, so obviously having irregular periods after finally regulating them was a huge concern due to my body not ovulating when it should. Following with more break outs. My skin feels horrible. I’ve had the same skin care routine and everyday I’m waking up to new acne in areas I didn’t have acne before. I also have more hair loss than normal. I literally pull chunks of hair out when I shower. I didn’t change anything about my hair routine. I used the same products before starting this supplement and yet, I’m shedding like crazy.
I’ve experienced a lot of symptoms after starting this product. Many weren’t so great. This next symptom was the final straw for me. Many of us who are diagnosed with pcos struggle with weight. If you are struggling with weight, before I started this supplement I was 160. I currently weigh 180. That’s a 20 pound difference. My diet is a clean diet. Many fruits, veggies, nuts, and a high protein diet. I don’t drink soda. I don’t eat out. I have maybe 1 cheat meal a week but I usually try to make it a balanced cheat meal. I work out 5-6 times a week. I walk for 30-45 mins a day. Some days I also cycle 30-45 mins, along with the walk. I hit over 10k steps a day. I have a very active job, where I am lifting and constantly moving my body. I believe this product has played a part in the cause of gaining weight and not being able to lose weight because like I stated in the paragraph above, my routine did not change. It was easy for me to drop weight before starting this product and for the past couple months, I’ve been struggling to even lose a pound.
Every person is different. Everyone’s body will not react to this product the way mine did. I really wanted to like this product because it was highly recommended but I will not be repurchasing and will try to find another route. I hope you give this product a try the same way I did to see if your body will react positively to it. It’s unfortunate that this product did more harm to me but I hope someone struggling with pcos can benefit from this product.
