I am SO glad these vitamins were recommended to me. I have always taken prenatal vitamins, as directed by my doctor, for mild iron deficiency, but even brands I’ve found that don’t cause nausea still end up making me constipated. This is the first brand I’ve found that doesn’t taste nasty, doesn’t make me nauseous, AND doesn’t cause constipation at all!! I can even take this vitamin without food, which is amazing. Plus it has folate instead of folic acid, and includes some good probiotics. I did a lot of research on what should be in a good prenatal when I started trying to conceive, and found this brand has plenty of the good stuff. It really is the whole package when it comes to a prenatal vitamin, and the price isn’t bad, either.
It’s in an average-sized capsule that you take twice daily, so not too big. It also has a very mildly sweet taste, which I like. Your mileage may vary, but I think it tastes good and don’t mind it at all.
My previous brand was Rainbow Lite and I took the once-per-day one. It had a nasty taste, and was the only brand I’d found that did not make me nauseous if taken with food, but it did still make me nauseous if I didn’t take it with food. It also made me constipated even though it’s marketed as non-binding. Pink Stork is the clear winner in all these things, and I’m glad I took a chance and switched.

I chose Pink Stork prenatal vitamins after doing some research and finding that not all prenatal vitamins are created equal. I loved the story behind why the founder created Pink Stork and, since I was having problems with morning sickness myself, decided to give these a try. I also was looking for a vitamin that had folate, not folic acid. The more I researched elements of prenatal vitamins, the more overwhelming the search became for a complete vitamin with everything I was told I needed, and it became clear this was the vitamin for me. I got the package in the mail and was impressed that they did not make me sick, which was great since that was the case with other vitamins. But it didn’t really sink in how great these were until one day in the first trimester, I was reading about the baby’s current developmental stage and read that the tooth buds were developing, and it was a critical time for me to be giving my baby plenty of vitamin D to help build strong teeth. I then read something kind of scary- that if I didn’t receive proper vitamin D during this time that my baby would be more likely to experience cavities throughout her life. Having struggled myself with very brittle, porous teeth, I wanted to make sure my baby had the best chance of not having the problems I did, so I began researching foods with vitamin D, looked for supplements online, and then thought to look on the label of Pink Stork’s Premium Prenatal Vitamins, and there it was, 100% DV of vitamin D, not the case with several other brands I bought previously. All this time I had been giving my baby just what she needed. There was a huge sense of relief knowing that the experts at Pink Stork thought of everything and had my back. Highly recommend.

I love this prenatal so far! I do supplement with additional Choline and DHA, however, it really is thorough with the supplements it does include. Easy to swallow (I never have had an issue with pills though) and has a pleasant smell. Would recommend!

I really wanted to like these vitamins. I’m really happy with the ingredients and the fact that they contain probiotics. After having our baby, I was looking for a vitamin that I had to take less of(was taking 4 pills from previous vitamin), contained probiotics, and was food sourced and this seemed to be perfect.
However, I’d like to warn future mothers. This could only be my very specific circumstance, but I noticed that my exclusively breast fed baby’s stools were not looking good. They had turned from a yellow to a brown and were mucusy, and also our baby was more fussy than usual, and I was more gassy. I looked at my diet and cut out a lot of things and his stool still was not great. Then, I forgot to take my vitamin for 2 days, and his stool went back to a nice yellow color. I thought there’s no way vitamins would do that?? So I took them again the next day and sure enough, brown, mucusy. Not sure what could be in these vitamins that could cause this, and again this could be my very specific case. I have learned that our baby is sensitive to a lot of things that I used to love to eat, so it could be just that he’s sensitive to something in these vitamins.
I just wanted to write a review in case this may happen to someone else.

I was already taking these Premium Prenatals, and they were the orange/citrus scented ones, and I honestly was having a really hard time with them in the beginning because the smell and flavor was terrible. I have gotten used to them and found that they didn’t taste as bad when taken with milk, rather than water. My new monthly subscription came in and it looks like they updated the packaging to the shiny ombre pink colors and it also is a different flavor/scent now…. berry, I believe. I think it smells and tastes wayyyy better than the citrus. I am SO glad they changed it and wondering if I should just buy up a bunch of them right now to ensure I get the same berry flavor, lol. I didn’t see anyone else mention on any recent reviews about the berry flavor so I wanted to make sure I left a review about it, as the citrus was not my favorite but was bearable to get the great quality ingredients I wanted. PS, I’m very sensitive to smells and tastes so that’s why it was such a big deal to me.

I love Pink Stork products, and these vitamins were perfect during my pregnancy. All my bloodwork came back normal throughout my pregnancy, and I credit these vitamins for that. Great product!
