These are easy to chew tablets, and do have a pineapple taste without tasting so much like a medicine. I like how they come insividual packed. The only thing I dont like is the size of the tablets.

They are fast acting and effective, easy to take during outbreaks. I start taking them when I first feel that tingle in my lip. They are made with non-GMO ingredients and are also free from gluten and lactose. They come in a box of 20 and are 1000 mg and don’t taste bad at all.

I have suffered from cold sores since childhood and I only get them after being sick or when I’m super stressed. I have searched high and low to find remedies for these breakouts because if you have had them, you know they can and are super painful, ugly and they make you feel awful. Anyway, I thought I’d try these because L-Lysine is supposed to be one of those things that keep these at bay. I have not had to use them yet thank goodness but I’m reviewing on size, smell, etc. These are HUGE. Bigger than a quarter, super thick and they remind me of one of those effervescent tabs you put in water. I did cut a tiny piece of one off to try it for the review and it had a slight pineapple taste but more like an antacid in a way but not that great either. I just don’t know why these have to be so big. I can only imagine you would be getting this mess out of your teeth for a good bit. But if it keeps cold sores from popping up, I’d take the whole box. And I’ve paid way more for a topical that still took days to heal.

I saw some people talking about how L-Lysine is great for those who get recurrent canker sores, and I was desperate for something.
I had a canker sore starting to form and tried these. The taste is gross to me because I don’t like pineapple, so I only managed to take one bite BUT, just that little nibble of the tablet seemingly made the canker sore just.. not show up.

These 1000 mg chewable L-Lysine Tablets are good for what ails you, if you get cold sores, that is.
There are 20 tables in the package. Just realize, these are large, chewable tablets. And when I say large, I mean LARGE – easily more than an inch in diameter.
They are supposed to be pineapple flavored – unfortunately, it is not a very delicious articifical flavor, but it still is better than chewing chalk.
Those things being said, the product seems to do a good job at reducing symptoms and shortening the time one may have to deal with cold sores. It is also only one chewable tablet a day, so is worth a try.

They taste terrible. I gagged the only one I took. It’s chalky on top of a horrible taste. I only bought because reviews said thru tasted good. They lied. So gross.

I don’t know if this stuff actually works. The package arrived with the contents destroyed. No returns allowed. I tried one of the tabs, the flavor is so abhorrent that I spit it out immediately. It is so strong and so fake it is overwhelming.
