DIdn’t have any safety seals. Generous expiration date. Made in US. This is a medium to heavy weight cream with no discernible scent. It feels luxurious going on and absorbs well. Leaves my skin feeling very hydrated without feeling greasy or tacky. I feel like my skin looks better in the morning though it’s too soon to tell about long term effects.
As night creams go, this is one of my favorites. The price isn’t ridiculous nor is it in the value-price category; for me, the price is a bit highand that’s the only reason I’m not giving five stars.

Made in the USA of domestic and foreign components. This cream comes in a nice heavy jar. The cream is definitely on the thicker side and has a very mild smell to it. For heavier creams like this I only use just a bit so it doesn’t feel too greasy. I found it pretty hydrating without irritation and doesn’t leave my face looking shiny. My skin tends to feel incredibly dry especially after washing it with just water. To be honest, I haven’t really seen any difference in terms of lines but I’ve never really found any real results with other more expensive name brand moisturizers and wasn’t expecting it with this either. I think this is moderately priced and is just fine if you’re looking for some hydration for your skin.

I am glad that this is a night cream because I do find it to leave my face greasy. I apply it right before bed, and there is definitely product still on my face as I drift off to sleep. However, this product does provide great moisture over night. When I awake, my skin looks and feels plumper.

Doesn’t take much to cover my entire face, and absorbs well but left my skin looking slightly shiny, not a problem as it’s meant to use at night. Quality ingredients and no scent which I love. Definitely hydrating, my skin feels good upon waking and is smooth. No irritation whatsoever.

My 2 cents –
I don’t have a tried or true skincare routine. I really should though. Being in my mid 50’s, my skin is starting to change yet again showing that I’m not as young as I once was. Sadly.
It’s time to get in the habit of taking care of my skin as a way to hold off the signs of aging as long as possible while working at correcting some damage that has been caused by years of sun exposure.
I used this product for the first time last night before bed. I liked it so much, I used it again this morning after I washed my face.
This product absorbs really well into my skin leaving no greasy feel.
I used very little product which was able to cover my whole face so this small container will last a while.
There are no harsh chemicals and no strong odors.
I have sensitive skin so some products may cause burning or tingling while others may cause my face to turn beet red. I had no ill effects using this product.
Do I see a difference in my skin yet? No. Like I said, I only used it twice so far. I will be using this every night and see how much improvement I have over the course of the next few weeks.
I took a starting picture of my face before I began and will take pics over the next few weeks to see what kind of improvements I get.
Will update accordingly in a few weeks but so far, I love this product and do recommend it.

4 ½ stars rounded up to 5. The 50 ml/1.69 oz glass jar arrived boxed but not sealed, but a tabbed plastic round covered the moisturizer. Ingredients are listed on the box, and directions are on both box and jar.
This nighttime repair cream has great ingredients including glycerin, the sugarcane-derived squalane that this brand is known for, organic shorea stenoptera seed butter (Illipe butter), ectoin, two forms of lecithin, and tocopherol (vitamin E). Ectoin is new to me, but from what I’ve read it’s an excellent multi-functional active that’s very protective, so an “overnight rescue” formula is a great fit. Also included is acetyl hexapeptide-8 (aka argireline or botox in a bottle) which may help smooth skin in the short term, but to my knowledge doesn’t help build collagen, etc.
This unscented overnight rescue is firm and looks thick, but I found it easy to apply a thin layer. I still have acne-prone, combination skin, so don’t often need a strong moisturizer in the summer, but I recently started using a home microdermabrasion machine. Starting the second day after treatment, I applied this over an HA/Aloe Vera serum. My skin felt protected, soothed, and hydrated, and it looked refreshed and healthy in the morning. A lot of very hydrating oils and moisturizers give me spots, but I experienced no spots from using this nighttime repair cream.
On the box: Vegan. EWG Verified, 2 Million Sharks Saved. The company is Cruelty free, but that info isn’t listed on the box or jar. An icon states the product should be good for at least 12 months once opened. Made in the USA of domestic and foreign components.

I have tried a few Biossance products over the years and found them to be OK products. Since this is labeled “Overnight Rescue”, I was expecting deep hydration and noticeable improvements. Perhaps this is true for some people, but not for my skin. Moisturizers come in lots of different textures and feelings, and this one is one I would refer to as “dry”. I know that sounds strange. Some moisturizers feel “wet” and deeply hydrating when you apply them- almost like they are penetrating the skin layers more deeply. This Biossance cream doesn’t feel that way. It does absorb, but it doesn’t feel wet or hydrating, more just like a protective layer on the outside of your skin. It’s an OK product, but it doesn’t feel the best for my dehydrated skin.
