I order these over and over again. I have to take 20mg twice a day and insurance only pays for once a day. I found this to be the most reasonably priced , but strong blister packs are a pain and it’s only a couple of cents per pill more to get it in the bottle. I get these and open all three bottles and combine into a single bottle. I wish I could buy them in a larger size bottle, but no one makes it in a larger quantity.

Small, easy to swallow and work as well as the brand name Prilosec at a much lower price.

I’ve have acid reflux and this generic version of Prilosec is my preferred “Proton Pump Inhibitor”. When taking just one 20 mg Omeprazole daily I have no acid reflux discomfort throughout the day and eat pretty much anything I want without worry. Omeprazole is also used to promote healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid).
Omeprazole is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms and if that’s what you need in an over-the-counter antacid you might want to check out one of these brands here on Amazon:

This Omeprazole is a great product for the long-term control of acid-reflux and I signed up for subscription plan available through Amazon so I’d never be without. I prefer the convenience of the larger
Omeprazole Acid Reducer, Delayed Release, 20mg 42ct, By Equate
bottles to the blister packs in this listing, but I don’t see where this bottle version is available through Amazon’s Subscribe and Save program. On the positive side, the pills aren’t difficult to remove from these blister packs.
Finally, no matter what brand of these I have bought, the package always indicates this medicine is made in Israel. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re all made in the same facility and then branded differently.

This is my second box of this stuff. I saw some reviews about the blister packs being difficult to open, but it seemed alot of people were taking all of them out to put in a bottle. I doubt that it’s specific to this brand. It sounds obnoxious no matter what kind of blister packs you’re dealing with. I take many pills at night and have them in a weekly pill case, which I pop these out and add when I fill it. I’ve never been popping them and thought this is annoying. It’s a blister pack. It’s doing its job. Overall, for a 3 week supply this is a great price, and I don’t have to go anywhere to get it. Once in a while at night I’ll have a little bit of heart burn as I lay down for bed half a glass of milk and I’m fine. All the other pills could definitely be a contributing factor, but regardless. It doesn’t happen often and isn’t severe enough to actually complain. I’m very happy with my purchase, would recommend it to friends and will probably continue to purchase through the seller.
Update. I don’t know if I got a defective pill in my latest package but almost immediately after taking it I got some of the worst heartburn of my life. I only felt better after ten minutes of unsuccessfully trying to make myself throw it up it was so bad. And even then it when from kill me now to, this is bad. Nothing helped! Milk, chewy tabs, a different brand of tabs, an occasional heartburn pill, baking soda, nothing. It was so crippling and had been going on for so long I was having trouble breathing. if hadn’t subsided when it did
I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. This is a brand new package. I’m afraid to take it again… But that’s never happened before. So I’m going to give it another chance, but if that happens again, straight out the window
