I have not used this much yet. The 2 jell packs with 3 segments each are easy to switch in and out of the terry cloth wrap. They are easy to put in and out of the freezer. They don’t stay cold very long. They don’t feel too cold to me without the terry cloth, but the terry cloth feels nicer.
The terry cloth wrsp is and soft. It might even help hold a another cooling pack in place. It has velcro near the ends, but the hook part can grip the loopy main terry cloth almost as well as the loop part of the velcro.
I have not tried heating these.
I like that there are 2 inserts so that I can be freezing one while using the other. It does take many hours longer to freeze one than to use it or warm it up.
The shape and size of the whole thing is pretty nice, but if it was bigger it might stay cold longer.

A little small, but they are flexible enough to wrap around various areas like shoulders and knees. The cold lasts quite a while.

I purchased these to ice my knees and they are perfect. They are much nicer to use than a dollar store version ice pack. No watery packs anymore! The covering is very comfortable.

These are great. Freeze quickly and hold the coolness for a long time. Bend easily to use – texture is nice, easy to clean.

I bought the Reusable Hot and Cold Gel Ice Packs for Injuries | Cold Compress, Gel Ice Packs because I had lent my heating pad to someone. In this particular case, the heating pad would have been too large, and I needed a reusable hot/cold compress for occasions like this. These gel packs work perfectly.
To reduce the extreme cold or heat against sensitive areas of the skin, I cover them with tubular stockinettes. This method provides a comfortable barrier while effectively delivering the desired temperature therapy. I’m very pleased with how well these gel packs work for both hot and cold applications.
These have been a great addition to my home first aid kit.

I have kidney and back pain and needed something that would be flexible enough to fit around curves they last a good long while and don’t take long to freeze I’m happy with the size and flexibility they really work for getting into curves even when frozen also considering how cheap they are they are very good quality and very comfortable as they have a velvety side

I used these for pain relief after a hernia repair, and they worked very well. They are large enough to provide good coverage of the painful area, flexible, even when frozen, and they seem very well made and durable. They are also well-insulated, and as a cold pack they worked for a longer period of time than I expected. I have not tried them for heating yet (instructions say that they can be warmed in the microwave and then used as heating pads), but as cold packs they do the job admirably.

I’ve only used these cold, and they have been great – flexible, easy to mold around a joint without feeling like they will crack, providing nice continuous cold all the way around the joint. I’m very happy with them. I later ordered the clear set as well with a smaller rectangle and 4 circles after surgery, and they are NOT the same quality exterior product. They bend in such a way that they don’t wrap around a joint, but rather create a crease so the outside of the joint doesn’t get the benefit of the cold. These solid blue ones are much better quality. Emailed the company via their website to find out if the solid blue exterior rounds are of the same material as this set of 4 rectangles and haven’t received a response. Tried again today.
