These are wonderful during a migraine on the forehead or back of the neck. They also work well to help stop the progression of a headache before the migraine itself is trigged for me. Cool and easy. They have a gooey texture that kind of sticks to your forehead without it actually having any adhesive. Doesn’t leave unpleasant residue or have any strong odor unless you place the blue gel side directly under your nose (no reason for that). When it starts to lose the cooling sensation, you can peel it off, lightly blow across it, laying on your head again and the cool effect is back. Each pad lasts me several hours but does need to be peeled off and “recharged” a moment from time to time. Truly a godsend. My husband even found use for one after a work dinner which wine was served (not a wine drinker-instant headache). He was amazed at how well it made him feel before he even took any medicine at all.

I first came across BeKool pads at my local Walmart. I used to suffer from migraines that were very debilitating. BeKool, in combination with my medicine, really helped to reduce and in some cases, eliminate the pain. They are great for sleeping as they stay in place and provide wonderfully soothing relief. You can get quite a long of these pads. Given I am 6’2″ with a large forehead, the pad covers up most of the areas on my forehead. As for the cooling effect, placing the pads in the fridge for like 20 minutes, the effect becomes pretty strong, and lasts for a couple hours. Highly recommended!

These are wonderful. They stay on your forehead quite nicely. They last a few hours and then become ‘dry’ and then you just peel them off. There isn’t a strong smell to them but they have a menthol smell.

I used these under my wedding dress recently because we decided to get married in June…in the desert…and of heat. Plus, my dress was several layers, so I was afraid I was going to have a heat stroke from walking across the room. Enter, these patches! I put one vertically on the back of my neck (my half up hairstyle covered the patch well), one on my lower back, and one on each hip under my chub-rub shorts. They stayed on for the whole 45 min ceremony, 1 hour photo session after, and the entire 4 hour reception, and I was able to regulate my temperature despite all the fabric on my dress. Not the usual use for these, but brides gotta do what a brides gotta do haha

These are wonderful for providing cooling relief. I actually use them on hot days when I’m outside walking. I put them on the back of my neck and the cooling effect can be felt even when it’s 90+ degrees outside and does indeed last for many hours.
My only complaint is they could be a little stickier. If you sweat a lot or have an oily face, you’ll have to keep reapplying pressure to the patch to get it to stay in place, which can be annoying if you’re doing a lot of movement or are trying to multitask with one of these on.
