My 11year old gets car sick so we brought these on our cruise. The boat was very rocky and she never got sick on the ship. She said they were comfortable and she liked the design.

I love my sea bands – I’ve had them for *6 years* and they’re still snug. I’ve worn them for motion sickness but they’ve also helped me through the nausea of a bad hangover, nasty headaches, and numerous other situations. I’ve loaned them to a friend who suffers from car sickness (on the long drive from Miami to Key West) and she was shocked at how well they worked. These little bands are like magic. They work almost instantly and they don’t conflict with other meds.
I have small wrists (6 1/4″ circumference) so my bands are the kid size. I’d say that’s about the largest wrist size that fits; even my bands can get a little too snug. I prefer them on the tighter side though. Once the bead is in place, I don’t find them uncomfortable – I’ve slept in them and I’m a picky sleeper.
They’re about an inch wide while being worn, and if you need to camouflage them, a stretchy bracelet, wide watch band, or a wide cuff bracelet could all hide them fairly well. Maybe one day Sea Band will offer ‘designer’ bands that look like jewelry…
I’ve just ordered a second pair as backup around the house. My original pair live in my purse so I’m always prepared!

We got these for our motorhome as a just in case for our kids. So far, no one has needed them but I have this brand in my purse and have used them for years. They are still tight and work great. If you use them correctly and take care of them, they should last and last.

they work but the main complaint is they are tight. I get its for pressure but it left indents when worn for a long period of time.

I bought these for both my kids. They don’t seem to work great but oddly enough that’s not my biggest complaint! The box came completely destroyed!! The bracelets seemed fine but the rest of the box and cases were messed up. They apparently didn’t allow returns (a fact I seemed to have missed) so I am stuck with them! I’ll be more careful in my purchasing in the future! That being said I have a 6 year old boy and an 8 year old girl and the bands seems to fit them both fine. They stay in place and neither has complained they are uncomfortable. So whether they work or not they do wear them. I do like that they came with a case for each pair .

I got a pair of these for my son while we were traveling because they were on sale and the store was out of dramamine. My poor kid brings up last weeks breakfast on trips and it’s not pleasant for all involved so I was desperate. After sitting in the car with them on at the store his stomach started to calm down, we figured it was just the lack of driving.
Then after 9 hours of driving, two plane rides halfway across the country, and another 2 hour drive with only these things on, I have to admit they work. Will I still always keep emergency dramamine in the car, you can bet on it; however, I have now purchased another two pack for my other kid and another back up one. I really thought these were a scam but they really do work.

We’ve travelled to the same beach condo 3 years in a row. We leave the same time every year, drive the same route, in the same vehicle and the past 2 yrs my son (now 7) has gotten so car sick we’d have to pull over several times and sit outside at a rest stop up to an hour before he can manage to get back into the car without getting sick. The first year, what we call puke-a-polooza, he got sick, throw up all over himself and the backseat, his older sister next to him, saw the puke, and threw up all over herself and her side of the backseat. So we spent over an hour at a car wash vacuuming out the car and trying to remove the stench from the car. We had only driven 3 hours and had another 7hrs to go! Back to these bands. I’ve tried the medication and the stickers behind the ear. None seemed to work. Got these bands because I wasn’t taking any chances this year and really didn’t want to extend our traveling time. Put the bands on him about an hour into the drive. Roughly 30 minutes before we got to the spot where he always seems to get sick (talking to you Virginia) and he was perfectly fine! We didn’t have to stop any additional times for sickness. Wore them on the way there and back and no sickness, no crying, and most importantly NO puke. Comfortable fit. A little snug but not constricting. Easy to wear and fit in cute little compact. The only negative is I ordered the blue pair for my blue loving son and we got army green. I’d imagine they work exactly the same, but that’s my only negative thing about these. I’ve already ordered myself an adult size for myself. Seriously if anyone in your family gets car sick, get these! You’ll thank me and these bands!

I am so thankful for these bands! My child used to cry at the top of his lungs every time we put him in the car seat. I felt like we literally tried everything from oils to food pouches to curve the nausea and it didn’t work. The moment we used these bands we noticed a dramatic difference! He no longer cries every time we put him in his car seat. He is currently 9 months and the bands fit him perfectly! Definitely well worth the purchase!
In full disclosure we almost always still put oils on him as well as give him snacks. However there have been times where we just put the wrist bands on and he was content.
