I have used a case like this for the past 7 years and it was so frustrating because every single time I tried to get a pill out one or two would fall. I am a woman with a size 8 ring finger and the daily boxes were just too small. This new one is “one day” larger in size so each daily box is perfect for my needs; both in number of pills and ability to get a pill out. I looked at more than 20 other pill boxes and they were huge; much too large. This still fits well in my purse when I need to go to my son’s house for a stay and it just works well. No problems opening it but they stay shut – no accidental openings so far. THANK YOU!

I was drawn to this product because the days of the week can be taken out separately or kept in the case as a weekly unit. I travel on the weekends and it takes up so much less space in my luggage to just have the days that I need instead of the entire week. I had to take a star away from my rating because the caps on it pop open rather easily. This would not hold up at all for traveling unless it was well cushioned to keep those caps closed. If there is any jostling around, you’ll find your medication scattered all over the place. There is one particular cartridge on the end that seems a little difficult to snap closed at times. I have to put the right slant on the pressure to keep it from popping open again. If you suspect there will be any jostling around in your luggage, I would highly recommend putting them inside a closeable sandwich bag. At least your medication will stay in once place and not all over the bottom of your luggage bag. I still like this product because I can reduce the bulk in my luggage, I just have to take the extra measure to make sure there are no unpleasant accidents. I would still buy it again as I don’t know of any other medication case that has removable days like this. I’m still happy with the product. They pop out of the case nicely just like the instructions state.

NOTE: From this company, I bought the larger version (purple and blue). The smaller version (green and blue) I purchased from my local drug store over a decade ago. They are the same brand, and I only show the smaller case for direct size and fill capacity comparison.
I love this container, and definitely recommend it. The smaller one was used for at least 8 years straight to bring my pills with me to work. Only thing is, it’s a bit too small for my current needs, so I bought the larger one from this company. It’s the same product. Works great during traveling, too.
Exact same pills in both containers for PM: 2 fiber; 1 fish oil; 1 calcium/vitamin D; 1 iron; 1 vitamin C; 1 Lutein.
With the smaller case, I had to organize the pills, placing them in a specific order and direction each time. With the larger case, they all fit! I don’t have to worry about organizing them, and can just dump them in.
Each compartment pops out for a single day. Easy to do with the finger hole in the back.
The individual lids are pretty secure for travel, yet easy to open by hand. Of course, if not secured, it might open in your luggage. I am a careful person, and never had that happen to me because the case was packed with items snuggly around it. Yes, the lettering can rub or scratch off over time, or probably if you wash your container often [I rarely wash mine]. But, with care, you will not have a problem. I never touch the lettering when I open or use the case. Again, the smaller one is over 10 years old, and was used for 8 years straight, thrown in my large bag for work.
