I’ve developed post nasal drip (PND). It’s really impacted my breathing and ability to do physical activities. Steroid sprays and azelastin help, but I’ve found that this nasal spray works the best. Something about the essential oils shrinks my membranes and puts off the PND. Saline sprays and neti pots help, but not like this eucalyptus containing spray. Here’s the clincher for me. I need to apply the spray in the “hanging head position”, much like what is presented in the link below. In this way, I am able to get the nasal spray into my frontal sinus cavity where the problem appears to be(I usually roll it around to cover all the surfaces in the frontal sinus). This bag in a bottle presentation by A&H makes it easy to apply the saline spray into my frontal sinus while inverted. Can’t do this with a neti pot or with medications. Fortunately, my azelastine bottles allow me to take the top off and remove the diptube, so that I can spray the medication while inverted. For my steroid spray, I pry off the top and place ithe solution in an old azelastine bottle without the diptube. So, I get the trifecta (eucalyptus, azelastine, steroid) delivered into the problem spot(frontal sinus cavity). Of the three, the A&H Nighttime does the best. I’m very surprised that GPs and ENTs don’t communicate these other delivery means to their patients. Took me years to figure out on my own. I only wish I could pull together my own formulation to save on the price. One caveat, is that the A&H Nighttime is painful. Although, from the relief it provides, it’s definitely on the winning side of the “no-pain no-gain” ledger.

this worked decently well, enough to help me breathe easier. it didn’t clear my sinuses all the way, but I could breathe without being scared I’ll suffocate. unfortunately, this stuff burns pretty bad as you inhale, and good luck if some of it drops down the back of your throat, because it tastes equally as bad. if those are things you can live with, I’d at least give this product a try!

I like menthol saline nasal spray because it opens sinus passages without the ingredients that can be addictive. There really are only two sprays I can find that have menthol any more: this one and Alkalol. This one is much stronger…you use this, you really feel it. Alkalol is a fine product, and maybe better if you are sensitive to the strength of the menthol, but if you want to really feel the cold blast of sinus-opening menthol, this is the one to get.

First off Yes it does burn a little but I love this stuff. It is way more effective than the standard saline spray from the same brand. I have been using the standard stuff at night for a while because for whatever reason laying down makes me kinda stuffy which is not great for sleeping and saline helps but it doesnt stay clear long. So I decided to try this stuff and it is great. It clears my nose fast and it stays that way for a lot longer.
2 things I have learned though. It does burn for about the first 10 seconds when used but it isnt excruciating. If you have a low pain tolerance it might be an issue but I just tough it out the same way I do with strong mouthwashes that burn sometimes because it works so well. The other thing is you dont need a lot! I dont need to fill my nose with mist like the original I was usuing. just one brief spritz in each side and I am usually good to go. Also if you spray a ton of it out in your nose at once the burning is also a little worse so that is another reason to not to use too much.
All in all I love it. Obviously in a perfect world I would prefer it not burn at all but there isn’t really much they can do about it. The eucalyptus is what causes the burning sensation but it is also what makes it work so well. considering how effective this is and how minor the burning is for me I will gladly keep using it.

I ususally need two applications to finally clear the stuffy nose. I used to use a strong pharmaceutical product that I had to constantly use, even for months on end. I realized I need to break away from every using those products again. They work great but lead to a kind of “addiction” to the nostrils. I also tried several kinds of saline that didn’t work as well as the strong stuff, but there was no way I was going to stop using saline. I’m so glad I found this product. It has menthol that only adds to the effectiveness. I gave 4 stars for ease of use because I have to press just the right spot for the stream to come out.

I have chronic post nasal drip (pnd) that runs down the back of my throat. I use the spray with the eucalyptus . I like the product it does clear a lot of the pnd. I like the eucalyptus. It stings a little but I feel that it’s working when that happens. Last bottle I purchased from Amazon I couldn’t spray the simply saline but the head was not clogged. I looked at the top of the can and I saw a little tab. So I figured why not. It’s not working anyway so I took a small flathead screwdriver and broke the tab and the can sprayed fine after that. The product is a little pricey though. Unless you can get a deal or buy in bulk. One can can be $10 at least.
