….had polyps removed so buying a replacement to wash out congealed blood!
This works well when used correctly.. disregard washing it in microwave… use a jug full of boiling water instead to clean it … use boiling water from a rinsed out kettle to fill it and then a jug of cold water to cool it down (make sure the cap lid is not tight otherwise hot water will shoot out.. will take a few mins and a tipping out the cold water jug and refilling it as water will heat up… when its either lukewarm use it, or if its gone cold, put it in a boiling water jug and check it every 20-30 seconds… normal instructions then apply.
it doesnt work for short term and if you’re incredibly blocked its best to use a nasal decongestant first, wait 30 mins or so whilst the water is cooling and then use it.

I bought this to irrigate my nasal passages and wasn’t interested in the expensive ones. Just follow the directions, lean over the sink, and squeeze the solution from the bottle. The taste (you have taste buds I guess way in the back of your throat) is salty (saline solution) but isn’t unpleasant. It took a couple of uses to get the right amount of suction (you breathe in just a little bit) to move the solution to the back of the nasal passage. It totally helps my nose!
