If you can imagine a store full of honey, flowers and cookies that’s what this smells like. It’s delicious… honestly if I could buy this in a perfume as an adult I would. The smell alone is amazing but it’s super healthy compared to the other baby washes. It does sort of smell like Johnson and Johnson but it’s better than that. Amazing! Buy it trust me. I’m getting the pack of 5 next time

Did you know that Clorox purchased Burt’s Bees several years ago? I hadn’t noticed any drastic changes in their products. Until now. I purchased the “tear free” Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash. I received a tear-free “calming” formula that had a “NEW” designation on the label. Even though I have very sensitive skin, I wasn’t concerned because I’ve used Burt’s Bees products for more than 10 years with no problems whatsoever. Well, the shampoo & wash was tear-free for my 2-year-old son, but not for me. A few hours after I gave him a bath, I noticed red dots on my hands. Hives. Over the next several days, the hives only grew worse. Three days after the bath, they started bleeding and got darker and puffier. Now, five days later, they’re still extremely visible and painful but aren’t quite as inflamed. If you’ve never had hives, they’re pretty painful. It’s excruciating to wash my hands (and, with a 2-year-old in the house, I was my hands a lot!), and I’ve had trouble sleeping due to the discomfort. I should also mention I did not appreciate the smell of this ironically-named “calming” shampoo & wash. It reminded me of catnip, perhaps with a little Windex thrown in. I think this is the end of my relationship with Burt’s Bees (now Clorox). The photo is from five days after I gave my son a bath; I wish I’d taken a photo on day three or four, when the hives were even worse.

Burt’s Baby Bee is one of the handiest products I use. It’s convenient to have a combination shampoo and body wash to take to the gym for use after swimming or to take along for trips to the beach..eliminates the need for shampoo and soap in a cumbersome soap dish etc. works very well and has a nice refreshing fragrance. Not just for children. Good product for adults, too.

This stuff lasts forever and has never irritated our child’s skin or scalp. It does sting a fair bit if it gets in your eyes, but even “tear free” shampoo tends to do that, so I can’t knock any stars off for that. The fragrance is mild and pleasant, and it foams well without being overwhelming or stripping. I’ve used this in a pinch when I ran out of body wash and also had no issues with it, which is impressive considering I’m allergic to many things commonly found in shampoos and soaps. We’ll keep repurchasing this wash without a doubt.

The shampoo smells great and works even better. I love the tear free aspect as well as how soft and glossy it makes my hair. I know it is intended for babies but it works great for adults that have sensitive skin or simply want a more natural shampoo.

I use this with my daughter and used it with my nephew when he was a baby. Very gentle wash, smells sooo nice, like sweet honey! I’ve tried Johnson & Johnson’s baby products – all gave my little girl a nasty rash. This wash is very gentle, tear free, and cleans well. I recommend using the lotion as well. I use the entire baby bee line and it’s great!
