cheapest diapers out in the market. though they are not the best out there they do get the job done. ive only had a few leaks and blowout to deal with

What I like about these diapers is the affordability and they’re very cute, but they’re not that soft and they’re very crunchy and rough. They hold up about once when the baby goes restroom and they get very soggy and they stay wet inside so babies not staying dry. I personally use Kirkland brand, Luvs and parents choice and so far these are last on the list. They don’t hold up too well. The Velcro isn’t the best either my baby was able to pull off the strap. They did have a funny smell to them. It wasn’t terrible. It just has more of like a chemical smell that I can’t describe nothing too strong. I have not tried the gentle diaper yet only the plush, but if it’s the same quality, I will not be purchasing.

I disliked the original Mama Bear diapers(performed like dollar store brand or Luvs), but these plush ones are more comparable to more expensive brands like Coterie!

These diapers fit my baby well. Many brands I’ve tried seem to be too tight in the waist/bulky on the bottom for my baby, but not these. I wish they were TCF, but as far as I can tell they are only ECF, so they’re a backup diaper for me as I try to buy TCF. The only other drawback is that the ruffles are pretty small so that’s less leakage/blowout protection but it hasn’t seemed to cause much of a problem for us. They’re pretty soft and stretchy. I like that they have a wetness indicator.

I am a mom of 2, so I know a lot about diapers. I have used Honest, Huggies Snugglers, Huggies Little Movers, Huggies Special Delivery, Luvs, Pampers, Kirkland and now Mama Bear. I wanted to like these diapers, but after 48 hours we were literally running to the store to get her any other brand so she wouldn’t have to be in these for 1 more diaper change.
Here are the details. The number 1 reason we couldn’t do these diapers any longer is they caused irritation on the baby. They are sooooo cheaply made that this was the biggest concern. When we started using these my baby was 11 months old. Only tried them because her regular diaper shipment wasn’t arriving for a few more days. My husband and I were just commenting the other week how great it was that we didn’t have to worry about diaper rash with our second kid. She never had an issue and we barely ever used butt paste. Well then we get these diapers and after 24 hours we started seeing irritation. They obviously don’t wick well and the chemicals used in the production had irration marks where the diapers rub.
These diapers also feel so much thinner and cheaper than our regular brand.
Out of all of these diaper brands, I hands down recommend Huggies Special Delivery. Diapers are definitely not created equal. Having a baby with a happy, dry bottom is crucial. Worth the extra pennies, plus just think of all the money you save on less diaper creams, medicines and doc visits. Huggies Special Delivery is the best diaper on the market.

I was skeptical at first trying out the plush version of this diaper because I thought the mama bear gentle touch was just OK and you can find a better diaper for the same price point. I saw these on prime day for the same price as the gentle touch and said why not. I was very, very impressed. They are soft and flexible with a satin-like exterior; similar to the feel of a hello bello diaper. The plush version definitely feels more quality than the papery gentle touch ones. I first tested the absorbency using 12 oz of water, waited ten minutes and dabbed dabbed dabbed. Seriously NO moisture! In comparison to the gentle touch diaper that had obvious moisture after the same test. I put them to use on my baby, who just for reference is 19lbs, for an overnight and the diaper did not leak and was only damp in the morning, not wet! Amazing. She is a moderate wetter but I still think that performance is great because in comparison to gentle touch, the diaper was wet on the inside after only three hours and I had to consistently use diaper cream so rash wouldn’t develop; I would have never used the gentle touch as an overnight diaper. Seriously, for .21 a diaper for size three these diapers are a steal. DONT SLEEP ON THIS DEAL, PICK UP SOME MAMA BEAR PLUSH DIAPERS!

These diapers hold up and do the job. I think you can clearly tell they are not the more expensive diaper brands, but if you are in a pinch they totally do the job. They block nasty smells, you can see if your baby went potty by the wetness indicator, and they stay on tight.
