It is exactly what it looks like, a spatula for bums. The silicone material is soft to the touch and does not overly flex when using to apply diaper cream. Having a few of these is helpful around the house for diaper changes. These travel well, but you’ll need a pencil case or something to store it in.
The suction cup bottom helps the applicator stand upright on a rigid, flat surface. Though I found don’t really push it down too much, else it gets a bit stuck. If you have any cream on the applicator, you may make a mess.. Just a heads up.
Overall, great price point and value here. I recommend this as one of those items you don’t realize you need until the baby is here.

These things are almost perfect, I like everything about them the suction cup the color the length everything is great except they are a little bit stiff compared to the bum Co spatulas but for the price of these you can’t beat them I’ll deal with a little bit of stiffness, they’re not hard or skin damaging at all they’re just a little bit more stiff than what I’m used to but not an issue, everything else is great about these things, I have no issue with cleaning my hands and using them to apply butt cream to my baby, but these are super helpful when you don’t have clean hands but you need to change a diaper or if you’re out on the go at the store and what not and you don’t have a spot to clean your hands to apply diaper cream, I’m not going to apply diaper cream with dirty hands to my babies sensitive areas, so this is where they come in so handy! wish they came with a travel case so they don’t get butt cream all over your diaper caddy and or bag but I just put mine in a snack baggie and I’m going to have my mom make me a bag for it eventually but these are great other than that, I am still a little partial to the bumco ones because of the feel and flexibility of them and the fact the travel one comes with a plastic case but again you cannot beat these for the price! These would also be great face mask applicators and I bet they’re more cost effective compared to face applicators but they’re almost identical to it.
These would be awesome shower gifts or even gifts as face mask applicators.

I got these for my daughter and her husband who are expecting their first child in a few weeks. These fall into the category of you didn’t know you needed them but once you try them, you are hooked. We must not have had these around when my children were young cause I swear I have never seen these applicators before. But I do like them. They seem so handy to keep on a diaper changing table or in a diaper bag for in the go. The end has a suction cup which makes keeping the close by and handy during diaper changed a breeze. These feel like nice quality and are not cheap feeling or flimsy at all. Since baby is not here yet, we have not officially used them but we definitely will once the little guy comes along. The can also be cleaned easily which is another bonus in my book. Definitely a big recommend from me.

I was using my finger before picking up some diaper cream spatulas and they work so much better and so much easier. I don’t have to clean that diaper cream off my fingers anymore 🙂

These work exactly as intended, and the colors are just perfect. I like having a set of 3 so that this can be left at each of the different stations in our home. I also like the muted tones of them. The suction base works great and hasn’t let us down. They are very easy to use and even easier to clean being made of silicone.

All of a sudden, diaper cream applicators are a must-have! These flexible, medical-grade silicone spatulas are thick and sturdy with a handy suction cup at the bottom. Far be it from me to challenge the marketing prowess of manufacturers who created a whole new baby category and convinced parents that clean hands were no longer hygienic enough. However, these are actually helpful in avoiding the caked-on cream underneath fingernails, making it worth becoming one of the applicator sheeple for this reason alone. They arrive in a clear unbranded bag so be forewarned if gifting presentation is important.

These things are great and you can never have too many. We constantly are losing them and finding them days to weeks later so I’ve made sure to stock up. They suction at the base which is a great feature so you can stand them up and not worry about them touching anything. They’re easy to clean and sterilize as well. Spreads ointment on like a dream.
