This works so much better than the one you have to put in your mouth. I’ve that I can check on my kids fever without waking them up. It is pretty accurate. I have tried it on their forehead and arms.

This thermometer is super easy to use: power on and press the button. There’s no setting, modes or anything else. I tested it against another one and the temperature was within 2 tenths of a degree; close enough for this type of device. Comes with batteries and is well priced

EasyTouch No-Touch Infrared Thermometer for Children and Adults is easy to use. I like that the battery was also included. It’s always good to have an extra thermometer around the house, although I’m never quite sure about the accuracy of these digital ones. That said, if it’s even close, that’s good enough for me!

Picked this out to keep from having to constantly clean the in-mouth thermometers. We’re always worried about spreading what we have with the thermometer. So it is really nice to have a non-contact thermometer. This one seems to be well made. Everything fits tight on it and it works fine so far.

PROS:
* Sturdy housing
* Easy to read
* Easy to take temperature. Hold the button to turn it on, then after it’s done initializing, point the device at the person’s forehead and quickly click the button once. The temperature measurement is completed in about 5 seconds.
* Under $15
CONS:
* I wish it had a case, but for $15, I can live without it.
* The thermometer will save the last 32 measurements, but to see them, you have to remember to turn the unit off, then hold the button down for 4 seconds until the M appears and then let go. Then click the button to cycle thru all 32 measurements. I doubt I’ll ever remember if I lose the instructions!
* Changing units requires you hold the button down for 8 seconds until you see the unit icon. Again, I probably won’t remember if I lose the instructions.

Seems that for the last few years thermometers have been a staple in our houses after Covid. We have found the infrared thermometers to be the easiest to use.
It is a great thermometer to have on hand when your kids are sick so that you don’t have to interrupt their sleep to check their temperature. It’s very easy for older adults to use themselves as well. The printout is large enough that it can be easily seen.
This model does not have a lot of bells and whistles, which is fine because you just need the temperature reading.
This is one of those items that you don’t usually think about until you need it. This is a good thermometer at a very good price.
