I’ve always been a brand buyer.. if it’s durable, worth the cost, or fits my lifestyle in some manner. I’m several pads in and I’m switching brands. You know the purple box Lansinoh.. yes well I now choose pink. The price is unbeatable, the comfort actually feels softer, the adhesive more tacky, the flirty lace design, isn’t seen in my bra so it’s moot, (but pretty), honestly I think it holds more/ catches more leaks. It’s a great buy and I plan to try other items from this brand.

I am on baby #2 and these are forever my go-to breast pads. I have incredibly sensitive skin and if you’re a nursing mother, you know how much worse that gets especially in the first few weeks when baby is figuring it out! I have dealt with bleeding, chapping, and overall sensitivity and these are the only pads I use that actually keep me comfortable and don’t scratch my up while I’m already sore. I have never leaked through with these either. I cannot recommend them enough.

This is a review three different disposable nursing pads:
1. Phillips Aventi Disposable Nursing Pads:
+ Pros: many pads for cheap and great shape. The single dart design helps it form to the breast and it looks bettter in bras/tanks.
– Cons: NOT bio-degradeable, contains chlorine/bleach which can irritate skin, texture: a little rough (skin will know it is not a natural fiber) plastic backing on pads makes breast hot after milk leaks, not individiually packed so they might get dirty if you just threw a few into your purse.
My nipples reacted badly to these, once I leaked a little milk the pad felt very warm so my breasts overheated, and then they began to feel itchy, and then heat rash began to develop. ); Would not buy again.
2. Naty Nursing Pads
+ Pros: 100% Bio-degradeable and chlorine free, smaller shape
– Cons: thicker pad has very noticeable outline when worn under bras/tanks, pads stuck to my nipples when they leaked and sometimes had to be PEELDED off (youch!), texture felt a little papery when dry and a little like lumpy pulp when wet, not individually wrapped, didn’t last through the night, no leak-protection on the back of the pads so they would get saturated and then seep milk onto my bra/tank. Would not buy again.
3. **BAMBOOBIES**
+Pros: Bio-degradeable, chlorine free, individually wrapped for sanitation on the go, BEST texture (very soft and silky), did NOT stick to my breast, the unique backing to these pads allows your breast to “breathe” so your breast won’t easily overheat, when milk leaks out onto the pad it stays cool and a very pleasant gel is formed (like hydrogels!), I can wear them all night and not have any leakage onto my bra/tank,
– Cons: I wish they came in similar design of the one dart like the Phillips Aventi, these were the most expensive of the three (but you get excellent value! They are a FAR superior product!)
Final Reccomendation: Buy Bamboobies! It’s money well spent. Your boobies will be grateful! I have already bought 2 boxes and I will be buying more in the future and reccommending them to all of my nursing friends! ;D

I love the absorbency of these and they’re very comfortable. The only problem is that if you don’t get the curved ones they fit a little strange. If you have a bra with padding it’s not noticeable but sometimes the adhesive back with stick to itself when it folds over. They only have a small strip of adhesive on each half so they’re not incredibly sticky but they get the job done well!
