Do yourself a favor: BUY THIS!! After using the nipple butter for breast feeding, it was a no brainer to try this once my baby started developing drool rash from teething. Works like a charm! Unscented, and while some say it’s “sticky”, I don’t feel that way at all- it’s thick and provides a seal. Perfect to use before naps and before bedtime when baby won’t be messing with their face. I also like to use this on rough skin patches- ankles, wrists, etc.

I purchased this as an alternative to vaseline, but it’s not a great substitute.
Pros: great ingredients from a good company. Very light scent, smells nice and doesn’t linger.
Cons: it comes out thick, but once it warms to your skin, it melts and doesn’t provide a thick protective layer. I tried this on a dry patch on baby’s face, but it didn’t seem to do much. (didn’t irritate baby’s skin, though, which is good).
Also, I was hoping to use this on my lips and dry spots on my fingers in the winter, but it is not holding up. That is my fault for trying to use it for a different purpose – it is called a “balm” after all.
Overall it doesn’t seem to do much for baby or adult skin, and isn’t worth the price tag. There are other vaseline alternatives that seem to work better.

As a parent when baby starts drooling and creating dryness and bumps where the drool lands you begin to wonder how to help! I read a bunch of stuff and decided there was no way I was placing a chemical around his mouth (aquafor/vasoline) and my go to coconut oil wasn’t thick enough to stay so I went over to earth mama and AGAIN was very pleased with another item from them. I rave about this (and their other products) because it is safe and it works well. This feels like you are putting beeswax on your kid and it has a little grain, which is weird. Regardless this saved my little mans chin!

Great for newborn! Using for his cradle cap too. It’s thick and oily so maybe just don’t use if wearing a super nice outfit for oil stain. But love this stuff! Clean ingredients and doesn’t irritate his skin

Purchased this for my baby who gets really chapped cheeks. I noticed when we started using it his face got significantly better. It’s very thick but easy to apply. I would definitely recommend.

So happy to have an unscented, all-natural, organic balm that is safe for my baby’s delicate skin! Originally purchased this to use as diaper balm. Works wonders! Thinly applied small amount to baby’s diaper area any time the slightest red appeared and it helped restore the skin almost overnight! Has worked well with cloth diapers- seems to wash out fine- no staining or repelling noted! With the colder weather, I have now been using it on baby’s face as well before going outside to help protect the skin from chapping! Again, I love that it is unscented and therefore isn’t noxious to apply on nose and face. Tube is small but a tiny amount goes along way. Melts onto skin and spreads easily for thin application. Noticed some oil separation in the tube during the warmer weather months, but have continued to use product as is without any issues. Very happy with this product and have recommended it to friends!
