I’ve bought this toothpaste for years.
My mouth peels with SLS toothpaste sometimes, but this has always worked without problems. Also, I love how mild the peppermint is. Mainstream brands’ flavors make me feel like I’ve been mouth-perfumed and can’t be rinsed, but this one washes with a rinse or two – that’s how I like it. I also like how this doesn’t bubble too much or burn so I get can feel where I’m brushing.
Overall, the Natural Dentist is how toothpaste should be. Mainstream brands are ridiculous trying to outdo themselves with crazy bubbles, dyes, little gritty chunks of promises, and burning mint, but the Natural Dentist confidently cleans with classy ingredients and sends you off to have a great day.

For people who get frequent aphthous ulcers, avoiding SLS can be really helpful. Excellent product, reasonably priced.

SLS free! That’s the most important criterion for me. Food tastes the same, even right after brushing. (SLS is supposed to cause microfissures and abrasions in your mouth.) And, it has all the other good stuff like fluoride, anti-plaque, whitening, etc. Can taste a bit chalky, though, but I don’t mind. Subtle mint flavor. This is not a gel.

“New and improved” version is horrible! “Peppermint Twist” flavor now burns my mouth, lips, and gums! Please bring back “whitening” version. It was perfect!

I haven’t been using this too long, but it seems to be a very good toothpaste. Natural ingredients. No SLS, no synthetic flavors, colors or preservatives, and no alcohol. The only thing I don’t like about it is, the cap unscrews and has to be taken off and put back on. I prefer an attached flip cap.

Great toothpaste! I read somewhere that it doesn’t foam much. Maybe if you’re used to those big brands that make you feel like you just ate some cotton candy flavored dish detergent, but this stuff works just fine. It has a great flavor too. We’ll be back for more.
