My 3 month has sensitive skin so he was getting a diaper rash pretty often. To treat his diaper rash and prevent them moving forward we started using this with every diaper change. His diaper rash went away and has only come back once in the last 2 months. The time it did come back we were using scented wipes which we quickly stopped using. I think that that is what caused the diaper rash to reappear. I like this three pack because we can now keep one in the diaper bag, in the pack and play downstairs where we change his diapers when we are downstairs, and at my parents house. We have a big jar of this stuff at his changing station in his room.

This product also smells good – kinda smells like frosting which is funny for a butt paste but I like it. We tried Desitin a couple of times but I could not tolerate the way it smelled.

I had a really hard time researching a Good diaper cream for my first baby & a family member had recommended this brand. Once I began to use it I completely understood!! It has a nice thickness so that you can coat the little ones bottom but also is extremely effective in preventing/soothing a diaper rash!

I received my first jar of paste as a baby shower gift from a friend who works in the NICU and swore by it. At the time I had never heard of the product and actually put it in the back of my baby storage thinking I would be using Destin. When my son developed a rash in the first few weeks of birth the Destin did not help my son’s rash go away. Then I remembered the paste and dug it out of the baby’s diaper cabinet. Within a day the rash was clearing up like a miracle! He is almost a year old and I have not and will not use any other diaper cream after using this product! He has not had another rash since. I would also like to mention that we have only gone through THREE large jars in the past 10 months and we use it with every change! A little goes a very long way. I gifted this to a friend whose daughter had a bad rash and after two days the rash was completely gone. Every new mom should have this on hand!

I love this product so much that we were bringing our jar everywhere with us. Luckily I found this bundle package of 3, 4oz tubes online for an AMAZING price! We can now bring our favorite product along with us on every trip without taking up extra room in the diaper bag. I received it in a few days and it is exactly like the product I get in the store. I will be stocking up on more even though I know my stock will last me for a while!

Butt Paste is ok, but it doesn’t provide adequate protection from diaper rash since it’s fairly thin and washes away easily. The smell is pleasant, which I never really cared about until using other products that smell unpleasant. But overall it’s not ideal for longterm use. I eventually changed to Desitin and have had no issues since then.

I have tried ALL the diaper creams and this is by far the best. If you don’t like the diaper cream smell (yuck), this is the best option for you- it’s scentless. It also has a nice texture that’s gentle but not too smooth. It costs a few dollars more than some other brands but it’s worth it. We also use the red Boudreaux’s Butt Paste for when our daughter gets a diaper rash (this yellow container is for prevention). The only time these haven’t worked for us is when she actually had a fungal infection (if this is your first kid: be prepared; it’s gross, but most kids get it, especially if they go to daycare).

A fantastic price for three tubes of this stuff! It’s not quite the miracle paste that everyone makes it out to be, but it works well enough with baby’s disposables and I haven’t noticed it staining anything of ours yet so it’s all good. This stuff smells SO good–like cocoa butter!–and it goes on really easily. I would definitely advise that you give baby a minute to dry off completely after wiping her down or washing her off before applying the paste. If the skin is damp, the paste goes on weird and I think it defeats the purpose of forming a moisture barrier on the skin of there is moisture still ON the skin, you know? Baby’s had mild rash a few times and BAD rash once while she was at day care, and this paste didn’t resolve the issue immediately like some kind of magical Elven balm, but it did make baby comfortable and soothed her while her skin healed. At first I thought that having three tubes might be overkill, but it turns out to be perfect–One for daycare, one for home, and one for the diaper bag!

A warning, though: I’m not sure if it’s because the stuff smells so good or if the baby is just obsessed with things that come in tubes, but the baby will do everything in her power to get her hands on this tube and play with it whenever she sees it. This might be obvious, but keep out of reach of babies (or if she does grab it, at least stop her from eating it–parenting for the rest of us).

We use Boudreaux’s Butt Paste for every diaper change for our little guy. Our little guy started to get a diaper rash within the first week. After trying all the preventative stuff – like changing diapers frequently (at least every 2 hours), sensitive wipes, different brands of diapers, wipes that we rinsed off first, Eucerin Aquafor… etc. I grabbed this out of the pile of stuff I got from my baby shower. It made the rash look better with one change, and the rash was completely gone in a day! When we stopped using it, the rash came right back. So, we use this with every diaper change except the one right before bed. At night we use a different, thicker product for the long haul through the night. This butt paste spreads easily and is perfect for the 2-3 hours he goes during the day, but it does come off on the diaper during this time. At night he needs something with staying power to protect his little butt!

Like I said above, this is a thick cream. It spreads easily and is light tan in color. It wipes off easily. It actually has a mild pleasant smell.

The multi pack is a great deal! We go through one 4oz tube every 3 weeks. I bought the 3 pack and now the 6 pack. These are great little additions to baby shower gifts as well. The expiration date is 12/2017 on my latest delivery (review is in 06/2016), so no worries there!
