Love the bum brush!! I had seen this on Pinterest a few time as one of baby must haves but didn’t really buy into it. Then I saw an advertisement on Facebook days before my son was born. I read all the reviews and saw how much people raved but I also saw all the replies from the business owner!!! She sincerely responded to messages and even gave a free bum brush to a caregiver of a special needs adult with unique bathroom requirements. So not only the reviews from other users, but the responses from the business owner really prompted me to purchase a bum brush.
Needless to say… Everyone in my family loves it. My mom didn’t “get it” when she came to help with the baby. But when my son ended up with a raging diaper rash, we turned to the tried and true Pinxav (also on Amazon) which is the color of calamine lotion and can potentially stain according to some reviews. The bum brush is great for applying without getting it everywhere!! It’s so easy and my husband has been telling people about it too. This is seriously one of the greatest products ever invented. Unlike a lot of reviewers, as soon as I heard of this I knew it was brilliant and that I had to have it. All it takes is a few unpleasant experiences of having diaper cream all over your hands while wrestling a squirmy baby to know this thing is totally necessary. It does the job and does it extraordinarily well. It’s firm enough to be useful and spreads a nice, even coat (better than if done by hand, IMO) but is flexible for a gentle touch. I usually wipe off the excess cream with quick swipes on the inside of the fresh diaper and voila! it’s clean and ready for another use. I’m bummed to have just discovered there’s a travel size. We don’t often need diaper cream when out and about (usually just at night for prevention) and we’re on our way out of diapers but I’d have gladly bought a smaller one for her diaper bag if I’d seen it sooner. The one we have is in excellent shape after 2 years of regular use. I highly recommend this to anyone and have given it several times as gifts.

I saw other people using this and wondered why they would use it – using your finger seemed easier. My aunt bought me one saying it was a must have. Then one day changing my newborn, I picked it up and used it and it is a LIFE CHANGER. This is easily one of the smartest things for taking care of your baby. It keeps things clean, quick, and helps you really make sure your little one’s tush has a good coating to protect it from diaper rash. It is what I buy all my friends that are pregnant as a must have!!!

This product kept popping up on my recommended items for my registry, and I had seen it at BabiesRUs. When I saw it I thought it was ridiculous, like why could you not just use your fingers — for free? I decided to read the reviews and they all were the same — “I thought this sounded ridiculous, then one night we had a blowout disaster and so I ordered this product and it changed my life.” So I decided to order one, and I have to say I am a believer! I don’t have to worry about getting cream under my fingernails or trying to wipe off my hands before I pick up baby. The suction cup keeps the spatula from getting product everywhere, and the cream wipes off with a standard wipe (although I bought some antibacterial wet ones to clean it in the mornings). I bought one for my sister as well and she is also a believer. This will now be a staple in any baby shower gift I give in the future. The only thing I have to say about my Amazon experience is that it is much pricier to buy on Amazon. I recommend going to your local BabiesRUs and buying it there — it’s only $6.99 instead of $9.99, and they usually have a lot in stock!

We found it cheaper to buy the containers of diaper rash cream rather than the tubes and it gets messy.
You don’t want to stick your fingers in the tubs every time and if you have a baby sitter or family/friends watching your baby and they need to use it….it’s just a house party for germs.
This works great. Better than your fingers.
It’s soft and very flexible.
The bottom has a suction cup so I just place it over the lid of the cream and it sticks. That way it doesn’t fall on the floor where your baby or pet can eat it later. Gross!
I wipe any excess cream on the diaper and then wash with warm water and soap and let it air dry. No mold or small spots where cream can get locked in and trapped.
It works perfectly. I love it. Definitely a must have for a baby shower gift (that’s how I got it!) and for parents with more than one kid (each kid can have their own brush).

When I ordered this, my wife was laughing at me and said it is such a waste of money. I had done a lot of research before buying this product and since this was our first kid, we had no idea how sticky diaper ointments are, and I am glad I bought this applicator.
This may feel like a useless product and yes you can use your hands or use diaper to spread it. Using diaper is not going to be easy to even spread, you will have to use finger at some places and when you use your finger, all ointments are usually so hard to get rid off. Now imagine, your baby is so hungry but you have to wash your hands thoroughly because you used your fingers to spread it. I don’t think it’s worth it.
I would say buy this product and thank me and other positive reviewers later. Of course, now my wife says this was the best return on investment of any other baby products we bought.

CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH! We had a bad bum rash and was constantly getting cream beneath my nails and then all over him as I tried to do up the diaper on a squirmy baby. This was a life saver and now we use it to apply Vaseline every diaper change! It’s one of my favourite baby purchases and so cheap!
