I like the mild scent. It also tingles when applied to the skin, but not in a bad way. Works well to cleanse my face without drying out my sensitive skin.

I had to get used to bar soap since I had been using liquids for a long time.
It foams up nicely, light smell and lasts a long time. I am almost done with my second bar and I do think my skin feels softer and I do not have to lotion afterward. Not so sure about the dark spots though. I would assume that take a lot longer.
