Great Dead Sea mud mask. It looks like guacamole but doesn’t smell like it. This has a nice scent and leaves my face and neck smooth and soft. I put a thin layer on and relax in the tub and love it. I rinsed off after I was done and didn’t have any problem washing off the mask. Since I used a thin layer this jar should last me a while.

I’ve used Dead Sea mud quite a bit previously- both mud powder that you mix yourself and products that feature it. This is one of the more unusual ones. For one thing when you open the jar, initially there is a gold film on top of the mud, which is supposed to be gold foil. Interesting! It didn’t seem to add sparkle when I applied it, instead it sort of mixes in with the mud and I guess becomes a trace mineral. Also this product is deep yellowish green, which is unique amongst other mud products I have used- maybe this may be from the aloe? It goes on smoothly, has some product scent (which sort reminded me of some hair products, but can’t really guess what it might be other than ‘just fragrance’), and it seems to dry slower than straight up mud- maybe from moisturizing ingredients in it?
I was able rinse fairly easily by first holding a damp, warm cloth to my face for several minutes, then wiping mud residue off in broad strokes before rinsing directly with water.
Each of the 3 times I’ve used it so far it left my face smooth and toned feeling, but I didn’t get that usual super dry, mummy effect that makes you look like a 100 year old person when it dried so I would say it’s perhaps a bit gentler with the aloe and other ingredients.
I’m was a little dubious about this product after seeing it was from China but after using it several times it seems ok, but wish it didn’t have fragrance. The jar is generously sized- probably at least a dozen uses.

Yes, this Dead Sea Mud Mask is made in China. But does that mean it doesn’t contain anything from the Dead Sea? Dead Sea soil is listed as the 2nd ingredient on the list, volcanic soil is 5th, and bamboo charcol is 13th on the list. None of my other mask have volcanic soil or bamboo charcoal listed, so new to me. I don’t know where the avocado green coloring comes from…..
I was a little surprised to see the layer of gold on the surface and just mixed it in. The scoop is ok but I still used my fingers to apply. I lost track of time, and left it on for close to 30 minutes. I thought, oh no, it will never come off! But a little warm water and face cloth, it came off without any issues. My skin felt very smooth and soft. No reactions at all.
This is one of the nicest clay masks I’ve ever used. It came off without any scrubbing needed. Washed easily off my hands after I applied to my face. The jar is very large and since I generally on use a mask once a week rather than 2-3 times/week as recommended, the jar will last me for a while.

I am hesitant with masks on my face because I have sensitive skin. This product made me feel like I was at a real spa, from the gold layer to the thickness and richness of the mask, I really enjoyed the whole experience. The mask comes with an applicator, but I choose to use my fingers. I also have rosacea and after using this mask two times a week I can see an improvement in my skin tone and texture. I wouldn’t say that it peels off, I did have to use a washcloth but that doesn’t bother me. The size of the product is generous and seems like it will last a decent amount of time.

I have been having some unusual and unexpected random breakouts in my post-menopausal age – why though?? And, with that, I have been using a kaolin based clay mask in hopes of helping get this in control. I was intrigued by this mask for the different ingredients and had to give it a try. Takeaways: Scent is very pleasant, comes with a nice applicator paddle, I could see the gold foil layer as mentioned in the description which was cool, application was very easy to get the thickness I wanted, drying time was as expected and bonus – it did not get overly hard and cracking like the kaolin based mask I have been using. It did take a bit of effort to clean off and left my skin feeling and looking so refreshed and soft. I like that there is aloe in the mix and feel that really makes for a great addition with the other ingredients to give this experience. The best news is – the very red and angry cystic acne spot (they are the worst!) I had was already showing signs of improvement the next morning – not as pronounced or red and irritation was diminished – I was SO surprised and relieved. I would buy again and would recommend to my friends, family, and anyone! A great addition to your home spa treatments.

This item is a 250g jar of dead sea mud for facial masking. I found that it tightens the skin, reduces the pores and improves the complexion, which is pretty much what I want in a mask product. I like the fragrance this mud leaves behind. As with any quality mud mask this one is rich in minerals from the dead sea. Removing the mask requires some effort to address remnants after peeling it off. You probably will need a wash cloth. I think the price point is reasonable for this quality product. Overall, I really enjoy this mud mask product and what it does for my skin. I can’t imagine anyone not enjoying the same experience I am having with the product.

This did not irritate my skin or have a bothersome scent, which are two of the major complaints I’ve had about other similar products. But it doesn’t give any noticeable benefit, either, and it doesn’t even feel good while it’s on so it’s not great as a purely relaxing thing to use. It does not have much of a smell, and it comes with a gold powder on top but the main color is a yellowish green. It wasn’t drying but it didn’t give any deep cleaning so that adds up. It wasn’t really brightening other than washing one’s face always is.
After using the amount I needed to cover my face with a decent layer I have plenty left over. I can’t quite say it’s a good value, though, because it just doesn’t do much. Overall, there are much better products out there for the same or less, or that provide a real benefit to texture, clarity, brightness, or other improvements if you’re willing to spend a little more.
