Good so far and it smells amazing however I am having a hard time believing that there is no fragrance added to this moisturizer. Is that scent coming from the honey? I’ve purchased shea butter before and it doesn’t smell this good.

I bought this and LOVED it. So I ordered another. When I opened it it was seperated in to granulated and water. Tried to mix it but it wouldn’t reconnect. So I returned it and ordered a replacement. The replacement is NOT what the original product was and HAD A HAIR IN IT. Disgusting and disappointing.

It came melted but I live in FL so that was expected. I put it in the refrigerator and it solidified. It has a nice smell and went on nicely. It seems to be hydrating but not good for my face. I have sensitive skin and it irritated immediately. I had to wash it off. I woke up this morning and it’s still a little irritated.

This is the first beef tallow I have ever got and I doubt I’d try a different brand now. I’ve seen others that make and sell but they are like salves. This is whipped. The smell… the way it goes on… there’s no way any other brand could be better. Call me ignorant but this is the best moisturizer I have ever used in my life!!!!! Skin is soft, it’s effective and my face glows! I feel like my face looks so much younger. Excellent job!!! I’m a permanent customer

I didn’t know what to expect with this product. It is cool and refreshing if you keep it in the fridge and apply it at night. Be careful not to get it too close to your eyes; it stings mine if I get it too close.

I love this moisturizer! I’m fortunate to have problem-free skin and this product makes my face practically glow. I apply it at night over my peptide moisturizing cream, as a sealer, and use it as my daytime moisturizer in the morning over a day serum (don’t forget sunscreen!). Honey and shae butter give it a wonderful but very light scent. The whipped texture is lovely and it makes my skin sooooo soft. It also absorbs quickly. I love that the ingredients are simple, practical, and effective. A little goes a long way, so don’t be heavy-handed with it.
My only complaint is the apparent fragile container. One morning I noticed a small amount of product on my counter. I turned the jar over and saw a large crack in the bottom. I did not drop or otherwise bang it around, so I don’t know what could have happened. To solve the problem, I purchased this 4 oz amber glass jar set to transfer the contents.

This is preferable anyway. Facial products, especially those with natural ingredients, are best stored in dark glass containers, rather than plastic, It’s certainly not a deal breaker though. Herblov Tallow Balm will be a permanent part of my face care routine!
