Alba has been my main shower wash for years. I have tried many scents and found this to be very lovely. The scent reminds me of a nice light garden floral with a slightly powdery scent that lathers up easily with my loofah sponge. My skin feels soft and moisturized after each use. I also like that Alba is plant based and cruelty free.

The body wash was all out in the plastic and smells funky, I have an older bottle which is yellow in color and says “new look”. This bottle says the same. Very disappointed.

This body wash helps me sleep at night. One…my skin is niiiice and moisturized. Two, the scent is lovely. And THREE: Any tick or flea who was unwise enough to ride in on my Bravecta’d dogs’ long haircoats is going to avoid me like the plague. This and cedar spray on the bedspread and around the floor in the bedroom keeps me from experiencing that horrifying feeling of SOMETHING WALKING UP MY BACK. Earlier this year I discovered a tick BURIED in my side. I freaked. I removed the critter, immediately got treatment, and began looking for something BEYOND just giving the dogs Bravecta. Then I remembered using this body wash several years ago after a tick bite…and enjoying a tick AND flea-free summer of slumber.
I’m not saying this is absolutely the ultimate cure…but after finding SEVERAL ticks in our house, I began spraying the dogs with cedar oil/witch hazel spray every morning to keep the ticks off their coats, and we have had an entire WEEK without a tick to be found. And this year, the ticks are really bad. We are surrounded by cattle (country living’ ya know) and our big farm dogs are Aussies and their hair coats are great for tick transport despite their Bravecta status. Using this body wash with it’s nearly offensive odor of Tuber Rose (said my hubby) is just that extra bit that makes for a win. I LOVE the smell…it reminds me of NO LYME DISEASE, NO FLEA BITES, and…sweet, sweet undisturbed sleep.
I AM wondering why it is so damned expensive. I used to buy this for $12 a big bottle…and bought lots of it. At $26 a pop, I’m probably going to have to take a second job just to afford the benefits.

The new packaging is cheap looking. The stuff inside is good. I have used it multiple times. It isn’t too strong of a scent. I don’t like perfume scents. It doesn’t make me itch or break out. I itch very easily and break out and lose skin with soaps. I will be back for more with the ugly packaging.

The scent is pure heaven. I can’t get enough of it. Lathers beautifully and doesn’t cause me any sensitivity issues. The scent stays with you after the shower which I love since scent layering is one of my things. Big bottle and very good price point.
