I’m a server, so taking a good shower and feeling clean after my shift is really important to me–especially with how greasy and gross you can get from working in food service all day.
I’ve tried every kind of body wash you can imagine, and I think I can finally say my search has come to an end! This body wash is terrific at what it’s advertised for. The glycolic acid truly works. In fact, I can attest to it because my bath tub is consistently *disgusting* with dead skin after every shower…so it does kinda suck that I always have to clean my tub, but I’m happy because that means the exfoliation is actually happening! No other body wash has ever done that for me.
And just to get it out there, I do consider myself a pretty hygienic person but there’s not really any way around getting dirty when you work in a busy restaurant haha!
The only two things worth considering is that it’s completely unscented. Personally, I enjoy that because I’m not a fan of heavy scented body washes at all but I can see how that’d be important to others. And second, it doesn’t lather the best–I’m assuming because it’s more creamy than it is soapy? I feel like I always end up using a LOT more product for my whole body compared to other body washes. However, I consider that to be an insignificant detail because the product still ultimately does what it’s supposed to.
In summary, this body wash is sooo worth it!

This is my favorite body wash I’ve ever used. I’ve always purchase “moisturizing” body washes in the past (dove, aveeno, etc.), but it turns out that was just a farce. After I’m done washing, my skin texture feels totally different – I feel very clean, but also like I just applied lotion. The bottle size is perfect, not too big and not too small and a great value for the purchase. The scent is just okay, very light and no lasting scent afterward, which makes sense because scents tend to be very stripping of moisture on the skin. It smells like a very light coconut oil/natural scent. I’m a huge fan of my glow better purchase and could not recommend more!

This is the perfect body wash. It is a little more expensive, and it doesn’t last me a super long time, but because it is such a treat to use, I just don’t care.
This body wash both cleanses my skin and removes the need for any type of lotion/post-shower moisturizer, even throughout Minnesota winter. This was a huge selling point for me; lotion is such a hassle, a sticky, sensory nightmare I am happy to discard! I am more hydrated after my showers now, in the most natural-feeling, non-sticky/gummy or ‘wet’ way that other moisturizers can be. Amazing! This used with an exfoliating glove gives me the smoothest skin.
It really surprises me people don’t like the smell. The Glow Getter variety in particular smells really nice to me! It was another key selling point for me. Scents and noses and skin chemistry are so variable I guess, but to me and my husband’s noses, it’s a light scent, not too sweet of perfumey, that lingers just the right amount and length of time (a few hours maybe). I can’t really describe it, just lightly sweet, soothing, while still smelling ‘clean’. It smells very natural to me, non-offensive. I’ve tried the Smoother variety as well, and that one did not smell as good, not bad though, although I cannot recall exactly why or what it smelled like.
All in all, I recommend this soap to everyone! If you don’t like applying lotion, try this body wash!
As the very last step in my shower, I apply a pump or two of this all over, then AVOID the water for a minute or two to let it really hydrate my skin. I’ll then rinse really quickly and gently with some cool water, making sure I don’t fully strip off all that slippery hydration. Then dry gently. Extra hydrated, extra smooth, no lotion or oil needed!

First impression using it was that it smelled bad, like something used in manufacturing. However it lathered up really well into a silky foam. My skin felt soft and not stripped during my shower and the effect was more apparent after I toweled off.
Will add to my weekly rotation, mostly because I can’t stand the scent every day…
Not sure why one of the bottles I ordered did not come with the gripper sticker because it leaked.
