perfect size to carry with you anywhere. it resembles a mini travel sized deodorant stick! exactly what I was looking for to easily apply sunscreen on my face without getting it all over my hands and then possibly in my eyes. this is my go-to sunscreen as of now!

Its a perfect size for your purse I use it on my kids and they have sensitive skin only thing it left a white residue and was a little thick

It leaves a white cast no matter how you rub it in. I’m black and it makes we look like a ghost. Do not buy.

The point of a stick sunscreen is no-hands application, but if you don’t rub this in by hand, you’ll have a white face. And… it is SO thick and greasy—definite no-no since it’s meant for your face. Gross. Returning…

This little guy is pretty small, and I’d imagine that if you used it daily it would probably only last you a few weeks. That being said, I’m impressed with how much it actually absorbs. I like mineral sunscreen because it typically has a lot less chemicals in it, but because of its more natural makeup often leaves a distinct white tint to your skin. That’s why it works so well, it creates a physical barrier between you and the sun as opposed to a chemical reaction like the other stuff. This stuff rubs in surprisingly well, to the point where you can only very slightly tell its been applied. Using it in stick form makes it very easy to apply especially for the face and neck. I’d imagine this would be ideal for kids who are hard to wrangle and might be more inclined to reapply with a stick. I’ll continue to try and use more mineral based for the benefits to us and the environment.

I have been using this sunscreen for a few weeks now. The stick it self is a little weird to hold, I wish it was more cylindrical instead of oval. Beyond that it is easy to crank the bottom to get more. It spreads on easily but doesn’t go much further than where you put it on. Think like a deodorant stick. It goes where you put it but wouldn’t be useful to then try and spread it out much. So plan on running the stick over every part of your face/body where you are going to want it. Then you can rub it in and it spreads a tiny bit. This does however really prevent you from using more than you need. It also doesn’t really run if you start to sweat or anything like that. I personally use this at my outdoor job in Central Florida and it has prevented me from getting burned everytime. It doesn’t reallfy have much of a scent to it and feels a bit tacky going on until it dries. My baby hairs around my face do tend to get stuck in it. It blends in almost on application but if you do get any white tinge to your skin a quick brush of your hand will get rid of that.
Overall I love this sunscreen. If I had to be picky and say anything about it, it would be that application when you have wet/slick skin doesn’t work. Due to the nature of this being a bar/soild you can’t really apply it when your skin is wet. It just beads on top of the water and doesn’t really rub in. For that reason I would say that if you need to reapply mid day and you are sweating that you would need to towel dry off first. Either way the product works great and I would buy again.

This goes on silky smooth and totally clear on me. I’m pretty pale, but zinc sunscreens still usually leave a cast on me. This one didn’t! Not matte but also not greasy, looks rather dewy. I have sensitive skin, and this has been gentle. Love that it’s vegan and cruelty free!

The Sun & Shine clear Mineral zinc oxide STICK is relatively small and super convenient. It’s easy to put in a pack, pocket, or purse to have handy for those sunny days.
It’s priced at the premium level in the “what you get for the money” category for this size.
Meanwhile, it seems to be made with good ingredients and is dermatology tested. So you get what you pay for I guess.
It’s an SPF 50+ stick/solid. What I like is that it’s sort of rolls on and then you can smooth it out and rub it in. This method works great for around the face area (eyes, ears, mouth, nose, etc.)
So for that, I think it’s great.
The protection seems to hold up as listed. I didn’t find myself sweating it off as much as other solids.
No skin issues after several uses on my recent beach week.
No smell either, which was nice.
All around pretty nice little tube of quality sunscreen.
