Customer Review –
Mugwort! Such an awesome ingredient that us humans have been using for thousands of years (literally!).
It’s anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and moisturizing. It’s got a ton of other good benefits, but you’re here for the toner, not a research paper on mugwort haha.
BUT i mentioned all that because it’s the reason why I decided to try this product (Orion mugwort toner) in exchange for an honest review. I wasn’t about to try something on my skin that seemed potentially sketchy.
Here are the ingredients listed on the packaging:
Water, Propanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Butylene Glycol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Artemisia Capillaris Extract, Ethylhexyiglycerin, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Ammonium Acryloyidimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Sodium Phytate, Citric Acid, Allantoin
I know there’s a lot of big, uncommon words, but that’s the case with most skincare products. Progress in Science + Ancient Knowledge = winning. I love natural products, but I also want what I’m using to make the most of what we’ve learned in recent times.
I looked all of these up online (and encourage you do to so as well so you know what you’re putting on your skin). Based on what I learned, all these ingredients play an important role in the product’s performance. Two of them are obviously the key ingredients (the mugwort and the cica extracts). Some are humectants. Then there are a couple ingredients that make sure this product stays fresh/safe for the skin, as well as making sure it’s properly emulsified/dispersed.
Now for performance– it sprays evenly onto the skin. It absorbs well. It is soothing, and makes my skin feel soft.
I still pair this with a serum and a moisturizer. This toner alone wouldn’t be hydrating enough to take the place of a serum + moisturizer, but that’s not the point of a toner.
BTW, the bottle it’s in is made of plastic, but it feels like a very thick plastic. I thought it was glass at first!
Also, the product is made in Korea, and is stamped with an expiration date on the bottom of the bottle, so you know if yours is fresh. Mine is good til March 2027!

This is a nice formulation for a toner with quality ingredients. I’m not sure I’m a fan of the spray, especially with the 1,2 hexanediol that should not be inhaled and may be harmful if it gets in the eyes, so I’ve been using it on cotton to apply in a more usual fashion. Otherwise, it’s clean and refreshing and makes my skin a bit tight acting as a good foundation for my moisturizer.

This toner from Orien comes in a spray format which I really like for ease of application. The spray is light and dries on its own without needing to be rubbed into the skin. I appreciate that there is no discernible scent, which is great for scent sensitive individuals like myself. I use toner twice per day after washing my face morning and night. As with any toner I have ever used, it is a watery consistency that does not leave residue. It is light, soothing, and gently hydrating. The ingredient list is simple and safe for the skin. This is another wonderful skin product from Korea that I would buy again when I run out.

I liked everything about this K Beauty toner by Orien. First off I will say that I do not have acne prone skin, I have dry sensitive skin, and this toner was excellent with my skin type. I found it calming and moisturizing. It felt great on and caused no irritation at all. It fit in perfectly with my other skin care products. I detected little to no scent which is a good thing in my opinion and how I prefer it. The ingredients list is short and sweet which is another plus going for this toner.
I really like the Cica and Mugwort formula and think it would be suitable for all skin types
It comes well packaged and the simple aesthetics with the green tones are super eye catching and attractive. The bottle is a hard plastic and the spray mechanism is perfect in its distribution of the product. This is a really good toner and I very much recommend it

I never use spray toner but this one is a game changer. I really like it. I close my eyes and just a spritz does the trick. It is not sticky and it just soaks in nicely. The old way of applying toner is not great. I will be using sprays from now on. The ingredients are impressive. After the toner, I am ready for my serum. The bottle is a generous size and it will last a long time since you do not need to apply a lot.

I spend a lot of time in the heat–working outdoors and practicing and teaching heated yoga. I also use retinols at night a few times a week. Even with lots of sunscreen, my face can get pink and heated when I’m out living my life–you know, that tight, prickly, hot, dry-skin feeling that makes you want to immediately go home, wash everything off your face, and hide in the dark the rest of the day?
I took this out with me today and gave a few spritzes every couple hours when it felt like my face was unhappy and/or before reapplying sunscreen. It did feel soothing, and I really, really appreciate that there was no heavy fragrance. No stickiness or feeling that there was something else on my skin.

This is super easy to use. I like the fact that you just spray it on and then just massage it in. Most skin toners are applied with a cotton ball. This means your using less product because you’re getting rid of the middle man-cotton ball-and going straight to the source-hands. Love it because your skin is silky smooth after using.

I am not big into toners, but I love this one! I have super sensitive skin and this doesn’t irritate my skin at all. The scent is very light and pleasant. It has a nice fine mist and feels super refreshing and soothing on the skin. I love spraying this on my face and neck after the shower before my skincare. The value is great for how much product you get, highly recommend!
