This product help my skin look more firm and less dry and dull. It has a hefty ingredient list, which I don’t love about it. That being said, I do see benefit in the appearance of my skin so I will continue to use it. I have sensitive skin that is prone to rashes and I have had no problems with this product.

This has a nice creamy texture for a serum and it has a nice applicator. I ordered this product because I saw it was a K beauty product formulated with so many features, niacinimide, vitamin C, retinol etc. It is a cool idea, but there are a few elements missing from the formulation that I would like to use (like argireline and a proper chemical exfoliant), so I cannot seeing myself wanting to use this daily for any extended period of time. I prefer cycling my skin care unless it is a morning product and it looks like the retinol is very light. To try this serum, I discontinued a quite gentle 2% granactive retinoid. I saw 0 side effects after starting the Domina serum up as an alternative. This works fine and my skin looks good.
In addition to my concerns about wanting to cycle my skin products while this retinol is awfully low concentration, I see that this has butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) in it and the purpose of that I think is likely preservative or texture. I wish Domina could reformulate and find a better ingredient.
This serum is ok. It is a nice attempt at a multifunction serum with a few downsides.

A really good skincare product to have in your regimen! A little goes a long way, and distributes very evenly. The smell is not bad; I’m always afraid a skincare product will end up having a really bad smell, as some have been known to have, but this one is okay. I noticed a difference even after one use! I also love that it comes in a squeeze-tube so that there is really no question about getting every last drop out of the container.

There isn’t much about this serum that I can say that others haven’t said already, but I do think it’s worth repeating that it has BHA (Butylated Hydroxyanisole), a synthetic antioxidant commonly used as a preservative in skincare products. Some people may have sensitivities to BHA, but it’s also worth noting that BHA has been associated with potential health concerns in high concentrations, although its use in skincare products is generally considered safe at low levels. But to paraphrase someone else – why even use it when there are other options.
I have tried other DOMINAS products and I’ve been happy with them, so since this one isn’t causing me any irritation, I am going to continue using it in my night routine to see what happens. I guarantee you, if there is any noticeable difference that I can confidently endorse, I will update this review if I buy it again. Until then, I think this is just like a lot of products where it’s nice, but mileage will vary. In other words, it’s not outstanding so far, but I don’t mind seeing if it’s a long-play product.

Rejuvenate your skin with retinol serum. It has a nice light scent, absorbs quickly and leaves your skin moisturized and glowing. After cleansing and toning, this is a delightful serum to apply twice a day for maximum results.

This Dominas Retinol Serum is low powered but my skin does feel softer after use. It’s moderately scented with a pleasant smell and goes in very smoothly. I’m not sure I’m noticing a difference with semi regular use so the dosage of retinol might be too low for results with intermittent usage.

If you are comfortable with the ingredient list (whichreviewers has to post since it is not published on Amazon) then there is nothing wrong with this cream. However, at $45 I would look elsewhere. For starters, even beginner retinol users can usually start at 0.25% retinol and work their way up to 1%. This cream is 0.05%, meaning it is at 1/5th of the recommended starting dose and 1/20th of what a lot of people work up to — while there’s nothing wrong with the low retinol concentration, it certainly lowers the cost of the cream and makes $45 hard to justify.
As other reviewers have noted, this contains BHA, a substance that is a possible carcinogen. However, most of the health concerns of BHA come from their inclusion in foodstuffs and it is worth noting that while BHA is illegal in food products in Europe, it is legal for cosmetics and is included in a lot of teen acne medications.

My tired skin drank up this DOMINAS Retinol Serum so fast and felt great. I’m sleep deprived and tired working mama who has to wake up all night with a baby/pumping etc so I have visible dryness and tiredness on the skin. This serum seems to help with that, at least at surface level pretty quickly, and did not test my patience, which I have none left of, so I’m giving it the thumbs up. It smooths out and makes the skin almost dewy after a few days of use. It comes in a tiny squeeze tube, making it easy to use. I usually use it during the day when I will not be rubbing my face against my baby though, as all intense stuff, and only on days I will not be in the sun.
