I’ve already used up all the eye masks as I write this review. I recently tried the 5pcs Wormwood Steam Eye Mask and was impressed. The packaging is excellent, with each mask individually wrapped in aluminum foil, ensuring freshness and hygiene.
These masks are perfect for use at night before bed. The soft, stretchy fabric and elastic ear hooks fit comfortably, making them ideal for sleeping. The self-heating feature releases fine, moist steam that soothes eye fatigue and dryness in just 20 minutes.
The wormwood scent is incredibly relaxing, helping to create a calming atmosphere that enhances sleep quality. It is a good product. I was going to buy it again.

These are essentially a “hot hands” for your eyes.
Disposable, but they heat up to a comfortable temperature and pull in some water from the air to provide a steam-like experience. The fragrance is gentle but also helps with relaxation.
They feel AMAZING. Soothing to my tired eyes, and the scent isn’t overbearing or cloying.
The little paper ear loops have a good stretch to them, so they can fit just about anyone.
I’m going to go through these embarrassingly fast, so I will probably be placing an order for them to replenish my supply very soon!

The box for the Dongyuanwenju 5pcs Wormwood Steam Eye Masks comes in Spanish but you can use Google Translate to read the instructions if needed. You just open the package and these little eyemasks begin to heat up in the air, you carefully separate the ear loops, put it on with the white side towards your eyes, and leave it on for 20min. These masks got less hot than others I have used but still felt great. I like how they lay close to your eyes to create a steam to help with dry eyes. Hopefully, they get a coupon because the price was high for only 5 masks.

The Calanettes –
I enjoyed using the Dongyuanwenju 5pcs Wormwood Steam Eye Mask, Wormwood Warm Eye Mask. The information on the box is all in Spanish, but I used Google Translate. I am a bit confused about the wormwood. Wormwood is not listed as an ingredient. The main ingredient is Activated Carbon. Perhaps the activated carbon started its life as wormwood? I also notice that the ingredient list ends with etc., so perhaps that is where the wormwood is.
Wormwood or not, this mask was relaxing. It does indeed heat up, but just to warm, not hot. If there was steam, I was not aware of it. The heat lasted more than half an hour, plenty of time to relax and even dose off. The ear loops help to keep it close to your eyes. If there was a scent, it was very subtle.
The Calanettes –
I don’t feel that these are worth paying $12 for 5 masks. The entire box is written in Spanish, I believe. The scent is nice, but I guess Wormwood just isn’t a scent that does it for me so I’m glad there’s only 5. The masks DO get warm and they do feel very soft on your eyes and ears. If the Wormwood scent is your thing, these would be worth it to get, they just aren’t doing it for me.

4 star rating because they actually got warm and warmer than I expected! The Online description says to wear for 20 minutes/day. The eye mask stayed warm for the entire 20 minutes.

Overall, I do not see much benefit to using this product other than for a calming spa like experience. Otherwise The only benefit I see is they could make good handwarmers and gloves in the winter. 😂
