Melts easily from body temperature. Feels like a light grease when applying. Leaves a shiny appearance.
Even when rubbed in well it leaves a slight glow, and the skin slightly greasy.
I can only smell the odor of tallow up close.
Good as a skin protectant.
Ingredients are listed as:
Adeps Bovis, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Beeswax, Mel, Tocopherol.

A thick, very thick balm. Not a cream. Not whipped.
I would ask the seller/marketer to adjust the last photo (# 7) on the ad page, which has the lady showing 3 white dabs of product on her cheek before she blends it in. No way, that photo looks like a white cream.
What you get out of the jar is more in line with photo # 4, a thick Vaseline type of ointment. I took 2 swipes out of the jar using the back of my female fingernail. However, going forward I am going to have to dedicate a metal cosmetic small scooper to get more out.
I do think the ingredients are great.
Personally, I prefer Whipped. and yes, the ad page never says whipped so I did not deduct for that.
Liked that the product had a manufacturing date and expiration date stamped on the bottom of the box.
I will NOT buy this texture or particular product again.
When I click on the seller page, I see random products, and not specializing in creams, or cosmetics. I prefer to buy from companies with a concentration in a particular product line, such as cosmetics or beauty care.

Very thick and lovely balm, no scent that you can discern and does a great job of moisturizing. With the texture of it, I was fully expecting it to feel greasy but it doesn’t at all, leaves your skin feeling soft and just a tiny bit tacky for a few minutes but that’s even gone pretty quickly.
Very nice and will be great for us to keep our older tattoos looking fresher.

I’ve ordered tallow balm in the past from a variety of brands so when I saw this brand’s version I decided to try it. This feels a bit weird and different to me. It’s balm that feels like solid Vaseline. However, when you put this on it doesn’t moisturize my hands but has a different consistency that does not lend itself to moisturizing. It’s hard to explain, but not what I was expecting.

Soft and soothing to spread on your skin, first time I’ve ever tried a skin product like this. I’m going to have to try this in a variety of situations as it says it creates a film on your skin that prevents water loss – does that mean it prevents you from sweating during exercise? Can I use this and enter a pool without feeling super slippery? I’ll be testing this further.

The wife applied tallow balm to her belly regularly during her recent pregnancy and didn’t get any stretch marks. Can’t attest to it’s other applications, but for this purpose it’s awesome.

This is a very nice product! It is allergen friendly (at least for my family, no coconut oil). The balm is very thick, which I like. Easy to use and no crazy strong smell

As far as consistency goes it definitely is more like wiping lip balm/chapstick on your face. But makes for a great alternative to Vaseline because that would make my face itch as this product is more soothing. It can be a tad dense when applied but it definitely helps with dry skin, I personally like to put it in my face after a shower when my face is most dry. Would recommend!
