So I don’t know about the specific “old people smell” this soap is trying to address, but it smells fantastic. I really enjoy using it as a younger person.

This glycerin-based soap from KAWASHIKI is made in Japan and smells just like persimmons which is a citrus scent. I find the smell subtle and non-overpowering which is excellent for those sensitive to smells. It leaves the skin clean and the scent doesn’t linger long.
The soap should be placed in a soap bag to get the best lather out of it. Most glycerin soaps need some agitation to get the extra foaming effect. This cleaned my skin and didn’t leave a smell but was very gentle on my skin. I didn’t feel any irritation so I like it a lot and recommend it at the very least for stinky sandal feet in the summer. 🙂

I bought this persimmon soap for my body Oder and it got rid of it! This persimmon soap is high quality and well made, not to mention its super easy to use and store. I love how this persimmon soap got rid of my body Oder and moisturized my skin, and it gives off a soothing scent! I love this persimmon soap and would buy it again!

As the photo shows, this is a somewhat see-through, glycerin-type soap. I expected it to have a strong aroma, but it does not. I can hardly smell anything. Nonetheless, it lathers up a lot, and it does its job of cleaning. If you prefer a soap that lathers well but doesn’t leave a lasting smell, this is for you. No clue what kind of warnings are on the box since there’s no English translation. It probably says not to eat it.

I’ve tried what I thought were persimmon body cleansing bars and they seemed to work okay. This bar of soap is priced higher than the other ones I’ve tried. This soap is worth the higher price because it’s actually made with persimmon. It’s like night and day. I will definitely get this soap again.
