The bar has a strong masculine scent and you can smell the burbon, the woodsy oak scent with a little spiciness.

I was hoping this “reserve” would have a stronger scent than the regular Cremo. To me it doesn’t. It has more of the exfoliate in it. What is that oatmeal? It’s not as white. Not sure why. To me it smells just about as strong. I will say I think this “reserve” version lathers more. I ordered Cremo brand again because one bar really lasts, but I was hoping for a stronger scent. If you like Duke cannon bars for their strong scents and was hoping for something like that here? Forget it. Sure this smells good it’s just not as strong. Pump up the scent Cremo!
Not sure how anyone can say the smell is overpowering or too strong unless you’re a bloodhound.

I usually use wood bourbon barrel from squatch, but hate paying the high price for them, so I bought these as a potential cheaper replacement. Never used them. Tried to give them to others, but no one in our family liked the scent.
They arrived and I could smell the soap through the box from 3-5 feet away. Took them out of the box and was enveloped in the tremendous odor of this soap. Didn’t like the smell and it didn’t smell what it says it is. My loss as it’s not returnable.

If u have sensitive skin would not recommend but this is one of my favorite soap I have used next to the Kiehls one
