I bought Magnisium earlier this year and Vit D-3 and when it came time to open them last month In May they smelled like a slaughter house. I could barely stomach taking them and each week it smelling like rotting meat. Mostly the Magnisium but the vit-D 3 also stinks. What happen on the processing end to cross contaminate all your other vitamins??

Magnesium Citrate is easier to assimilate in the body versus magnesium oxide. I trust the quality control of Now Foods with this supplement and all their supplements. This product, Magnesium Citrate includes magnesium glycinate and malate which help make the absorption of the magnesium faster. The softgets are better than tablets.

This product is on my ‘repeat buy’ list for two reasons: 1) I eat a ketogenic diet, which means I need to have higher intake of magnesium in general, and 2) I have a family history of colon cancer, which means I need to make sure that I am regular. This product addresses both of those issues. It’s a softgel, which seems to deliver the magnesium better than the capsules I was using before. It has magnesium citrate, which keeps stool soft but not liquid, which is important! It seems to work a bit faster than capsules as well, in 4-6 hours vs about 12 hours. I like that this product also has magnesium glycinate and malate, which do different things in the body than the citrate, and don’t generally affect stool very much. I’ve purchased this product a few times and plan to continue purchasing.

Initially I received 1 less bottle. We called customer service and they are sending us a replacement so all is good. Always great quality, well absorbed, moves bowels without giving diarrhea. I love the combination of Mg citrate malate and glycinate. 5 ⭐️

I have ordered this magnesium supplement product in the past. For the first time, the product came with a California Proposition 65 Warning affixed to the top of the bottle. Says “Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm…”. I sent a message to the NOW Foods Company through their website asking for information regarding this warning and I have not yet received a response.
