I had been experiencing what I could only fathom to be cheilitis and was using Aquaphor lip ointment to sooth it. This is the only thing I have ever found to help with cold sores. I used to get them really bad when I was under alot of stress, but I started taking these twice a day and I almost never get them anymore. Even when I do, they aren’t half as bad and do not last long. The only thing that keeps them from having 5 stars is the taste and size of the pill. It is definitly worth it though!

This KAL product is a great source of lysine. Although the tablet is large it is shaped like a kayak and slips down the throat easily. This is lysine formulated with Olive leaf. No soy, no wheat, no gluten, no nightshades. This is one of the best formulations available. Have used it for over 5 years. No bad side effects. The only negative is that it is tablet form not in capsules and large however the unique tablet shape makes it swallowable. Highly recommend this product.
