Love this product. Actually tastes good. The secret is to put one scoop into a small jar with about 4- 6 oz of water. Put the top on and shake vigorously then immediately drink it before it swells up. Follow with a large glass of water. If you try to stir it into water it just clumps up and by time it is mixed it is swelling and then you are trying to drink a clumpy gel.

My daughter has Celiac Disease and once she started taking this on a regular basis it really started to heal the damage from the disease and from the food intolerances that she developed. After a few months she was able to gradually add back into her diet many of the foods that she hadn’t been able to eat without having abdominal pain. I use it several times a week to help with constipation. It is gentle but effective. And if you mix it with fruit juice in a blender cup and drink it right away while the juice is cold it doesn’t taste bad at all. I couldn’t use Floressence because of the texture of that stuff but GI Fortify is really easy to get down.

This product actually helps my gastritis. I have read the reviews and it seems the low ratings center around the terrible taste and the lumpiness when you try to mix it. I had the same problem with taste and lumpiness. For all of those who have this problem I have a suggestion. I came up with this solution to the problem. Get a blender and buy some VITA COCO pure coconut water. Pour in a glass of the coconut water, add one packet of Pure Via stevia (one of the best brands available) and add a heaping scoop of GI Fortify power. Blend for 10 seconds and you will have an absolutely delicious drink with no lumpiness. The coconut water is alkaline which helps if you have acid reflux plus it is also a good source of potassium. Just remember to drink lots of water during the day (which you should be doing anyhow) as the GI Fortify contains fiber which you need to stay regular. Try it. You will like it!

I have used several other products of this company and have had good luck, so when I saw this product I was excited to try it. It was shipped in a timely manor, I mixed up my first glass to try it and I have never had something so nasty in my mouth before, I swallowed the first gulp and after that I had to spit it in the sink!!! I believe the product may be good but they need to find a way to change the taste!

I have tried tons of products, supplements, diets, with no luck keeping my IBS under control. This product, although it doesn’t taste the best (kind of reminds me of chocolate co-co wheats), was my lightning bolt. Along with a better diet (less fatty foods and knowing which foods would give me trouble eliminated) this has been my Godsend. No frequent trips to the bathroom, pains in my abdomen. I had no luck finding anything close when they stopped making my Benefiber supplements. This works even better. For those out there suffering, you need to try this. I used to be very active, running, outdoors, and my IBS kept me inside since August. Now I am able to go back out and enjoy being active and enjoy life.

As someone who has bouts of constipation, I take supplements to help with regularity. This is probably THE best supplement I have found. I mix this with my morning smoothie with strawberries, blueberries, spinach, protein, oatmeal, cinnamon, almond milk, and water.
It’s pretty much tasteless. But it works amazing. I always have more as backup because I’m so afraid of running out.

The Metagenics product tasted better and worked better, this was just OK. I should have read the ingredients I didn’t want all that fiber.
