I wanted to try these out because I get tired of wiping diaper cream off my fingers and sometimes it gets under my fingernail and it’s hard to get out. These are easy to use and you don’t get anything on your finger. These are individually wrapped so you can throw a few in your diaper bag and take them when you travel which is a HUGE plus because having to change a diaper on the side of the road isn’t easy and you may not always have access to a sink. This prevents get all that gunk on your hands. These are excellent to have on hand.

Sometimes it’s the most simple products that we find make life easy. I absolutely hate trying to finish up my baby’s diaper change with goo all over my fingers and it never comes off until I can get to the sink. I’ve tried using the silicone butt spatulas however I find I need to feel what it is I’m doing and those just don’t offer me enough control. These are truly genius because they do both, keep ny hands clean and offer me the ability to still feel and get into where I need to apply cream. When finished I simply turn it inside out and I wrap it up with the diaper and wipes to be tossed. I keep them right in my diaper changing station and bag and found putting it on at the beginning of the change easiest. It fits securely and doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall off or get in the way of changing the diaper. They are also wonderful to use while out and work especially well right after I get my nails done. They’re soft and gentle and if anything my baby doesn’t flinch as much from my cold fingers. A really simple item that makes you no longer dread applying diaper rash creams.

This is a neat idea and works great for travel or when you’re outside. However, I wouldn’t use these day-to-day at home, because it does get expensive. Each box comes with 30 at $7.99. For that price, I can get a silicone spatula with endless applications (beyond the 30 times). The individual packaging is for hygiene reason, but you really have to set this up (as in, tear the package and take the finger wipe out) before you start changing your kid’s diaper because it takes time to open the package, and if you have a wiggly baby who refuses diaper changes…well time is of the essence. I do believe this product has a time and place for it, but it’s just not an everyday-go-to for me.

This is a nice product! It helps adults keep their fingers clean while applying diaper cream. The pack comes with 30. I do think it is a bit on the pricey side with the amount you get. I am plus size and have bigger fingers and they are a bit snug on my finger. I think it’s a great concept overall and they get the job done effectively but a few changes, maybe different sizes and price ranges, could do wonders

While these are primarily marketed as a baby product (for diaper cream application and oral hygiene use), they are also suitable for the application of other topical creams or ointments I have to occasionally use different steroidal creams on my hands, and I don’t like applying it with bare fingers. When I am at home, I typically use a small silicone spatula. However, that is not practical when traveling. These single-use finger shields by Momcozy are a good alternative to the traditional latex finger cots I kept in my travel bag.
This product comes as a set of (30) individually packaged sleeves, which keeps them clean until they are ready for use. It is easy to tear open the package at the indicated area, remove the cover, and fit it to your finger. These covers have a unique design. Unlike traditional finger cots, which cover only one finger, these covers also have a part that is meant to loop over your thumb. This is what keeps it in place when you are applying your creams/ointments. When finished, the thumb strip can be used to pull the cover off your finger. Traditional finger cots have to be rolled up and off your finger, and it is easy to end up inadvertently touching the used end (particularly gross if you are using these to apply diaper creams). If you have a baby, it would be a no-brainer to toss several sleeves of these covers into your diaper bag.
These covers are made of a paper towel-like material that has a quilted texture. It is soft enough to be used on a baby’s delicate skin. Also, it would definitely be a good option for those who have exceptionally sensitive skin or allergies as these sleeves are allegedly free of any additives.
I had mixed results when using these covers to apply creams/ointments. They didn’t glide as well as traditional finger cots, and sometimes they tended to bunch up. However, this was really the only “con” that I could find with this product, and it wouldn’t deter me from continuing to use them.
At the time of ordering, this package was priced at $7.99, which seems reasonable to me.
